First floor has 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, 1 half bath, living room area with flat screen T.V., kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, dishes, silverware. This floor is completed in an urban theme, with side door into garage and rear door out to patio. New 2012, four flat screen t.v.s', 2 lower and 2 second floor.

Second floor has a cottage beach theme, one bedroom with flat screen T.V. and DVD, one full bath, full kitchen, laundry room, living room includes queen sleeper, bunk beds,T.V. and DVD.

Garage has two entrances one into main floor and one to upper floor, both have coded locks, garage is also heated, house is air conditioned. This property is built for a vacation rental, it is ideal for two couples with children, as both floors are totally private with separate sleeping, cooking and bathrooms.

Location between Lake Michigan beach and Muskegon Lake.

Muskegon Lake: Boat launch to Muskegon Lake is 2 blocks away. Fishing, swimming, bike path, boating. Great Lakes Marina and Lake Express Car Ferry three blocks away Specialty store 2 blocks away. Featuring beer, wine, deli, liquor and specialty foods (Ghezzi's Market) The complete lakeside area has sidewalks and is a great place to walk and shop. Muskegon lake is a deep water harbor with access to bear lake and Lake Michigan, many marinas including downtown on the water, two yacht clubs,one state park and just a whole lot of great sandy beaches. Muskegon has four restaurants, bars that can be reached by water, making summer on our lakes something to remember. Pere marquette beach is a short 1.5 mile away.

Lake Michigan: Pere Marquette Park boasts beautiful white sandy beach, play ground, picnic area, light house, biking and free parking.

My wife and I heard about Richard's cottage from a friend and I can tell you, we couldn't have been more impressed with the place. The attention to detail is amazing. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our whole vacation. We went down to Ghezzi's Market while we were there and had a chance to talk with Richard who we found out is the owner and builder of both this cottage and Ghezzi's Market, and not to mention numerous other ventures in Muskegon.

If you are looking for a nice place near town and near the beach, look no further, I know we will be back.

Thank you Richard, we had an excellent vacation.

Beautiful Home with Great Location!!!

My family and myself vacationed here in August of 2012. I must say we were very satisfied with everything about the home! The home has a very unique layout that my family and I enjoyed very much! The home had everything we needed, and the owners were extremely nice and helpful! It is located a short 2 or 3 minutes from a spectacular beach and being one block away from the owners General Store was of great convenience! We would recommend this home to anyone looking to travel to the area. We look forward to going back soon!!! Thanks again to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us for our vacation!!

Beautiful home, and great location! Close to the marina, and three miles from Muskegon public beach! The owner was super easy to work with, and very helpful. We rented the entire cottage, and were very pleased with our experience! Recommend visiting the owner's market (right down the street), Ghezzi's Market :)

The best kept secret in Muskegon!

My now husband and I found this property by sheer accident. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend in an amazing house!! Our family traveled up from Indiana to attend our wedding. Dick was nice enough to let us rent his house for only two days. Every other property we looked at wanted us to committ to 3-4days. There was nothing we would have changed about this place and our experience. The location was absolutely perfect. We cannot wait to return and hopefully stay a a few more nights. Our family loved it so much they want to buy a rental on Lake Michigan :) Dick we look forward to visiting again soon!
