APARTMENT 1

Supetar Apartment Rental Photos and Description

2 Apartments sleeping up to 8 people

The recently built apartments are located on the picturesque island of Brac in the Town of Supetar just 1km from the port. They are on the ground floor of a 3 storey residence comprising of 8 apartments in a quiet location just 250 metres from the sea. The properties are air conditioned and fully equipped to provide a comfortable break for any time of the year

The accommodation is arranged as a single living area on one floor. They are offered with the option of 1 x double and 1 x twin or 2 x twin bedrooms. There is an additional sofa bed in the lounge area if required.

The kitchenettes are well equipped including fridge/freezer, 4 ring ceramic hob, oven and grill.

From the lounge area, patio doors lead you onto a small terrace with garden furniture provided. There is parking outside for one car per apartment.

This is an ideal destination for those who are looking to benefit from the rich monumental heritage and natural beauties of the nearby Central Dalmation mainland (Diocletians Palace, Trogir, Salona, Klis, Vranjaca Cave, Krka Falls...), whilst enjoying at the same time the charms of staying in a small island town.

Brac is the largest island in Central Dalmatia at 150 square miles (394 square km), the third largest in the Adriatic, and is one of the sunniest with 2,700 hours of sun annually. The small places on the island are bound to fascinate each traveller with the beauty and purity of their traditional architecture.

There are numerous opportunities for walks and excursions on the island: Blaca Desert, Vidova Gora, Zlatni Rat (the most beautiful beach in Croatia), Museum of Brac in Skrip, stone masonry school in Pucisca...Every place on Brac has its own beauty and appeal!

How to get there: There are several options for how to get to split, but by far the easiest route is by flying direct to Split. There are now several operators offering a direct service including British Airways, Easyjet, Westernair, Excel and Wizz. From Split Airport, you can hire a car or get a bus or taxi to the port (25km).From here, ferries transfer you to the Island of Brac every hour in peak season. Sailing time is just 45 minutes.

Once on the Island, the apartments are an easy 1km walk or get a taxi. Car hire can be taken just outside the port in Supetar if required.

A more adventurous route for travelling to Split is by flying to Ancona in Italy with Ryanair and then take the night ferry to Split with sem. If you need help in organising travel arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact me

My Stay at Appartment 3 - Brac

This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment. The first time my girlfriend and I stayed was in late September, where the weather was still at 25°C and very sunny and this year in Early May, the weather was at 24°C and only rained twice in 10 days. The apartment was immaculate (as usual) and very easily accessible through the Property management company on arrival. The local area is very picturesque and very quaint. The local people are very friendly and will always go out of their way to help you (should you need it). The restrauntaur's are very friendly and the food from the restaurant's is very nice (also very cheap).
On day 4, we hired bicycles from a local rental company (again extremely cheap @£6.00 per day). We cycled approx 30km across the coastline and across the hills and we were amazed by the breath taking scenery...... Brac is a fantastic location for idyllic views and a pleasant friendly stay....

Yet again a beautiful break away from the day to day of working life

First visit to Brac island and it won't be the last! Its a beautiful island. The apartment is perfectly located for walking distance from the ferry port. Easy collection of the keys on the way at the agency. The apartment is clean, well maintained with everything you need; iron, hairdryer, washing machine. There was even cleaning materials and toliet paper when we arrived. The apartment has a large terrace in a quiet block but is perfect walking distance to everywhere. The supermarket is within a 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

Payment and contact with the owner is easy due to him being based in the UK, and will answer any questions you may have.

The area of Supetar is beautiful with a good range of restaurants, the evenings are lovely with many families enjoying the warm weather. Beaches are in walking distance; it is worth buying the sea shoes due to the beaches being pebbled as it can be a bit sore on the feet!

We hired push bikes from the man on the main street who was very helpful and cycled along the coast. We also went sea kayaking with one of the companies who advertise in various locations. The boat trip to Omish is also worth doing for a day out. You can get to the other side of the island to Bol by bus but remember that the buses don't run in the evening so plan your journey well. The staff in the tourist information are helpful and have a full list of timetables etc.

The island is stunning and hopefully they will not overdevelop the tourism too much. If you like to be away from package holidays and too many 'English abroad' then Supetar is perfect (Bol is slightly more developed in tourism). Most people speak English on the island so you won't have a problem.

The bus is easy to catch if you are arriving at Split airport, go out the airport and turn right and you will see the bus. Pay at the kiosk and it will drop you off at the ferry port. The ferry is great; clean and effecient.

I would hightly recommend not only the island but the apartment as well. Super holiday and intend to revisit and stay at the same apartment!

Croatia - Isle of Brac

Having never been to Croatia before 3 friends and I booked the apartment at the beginning of September in 2009 for a girls holiday. The payment method suited us because we could pay in two halves and had plenty of time to save spending money. We wanted somewhere relaxed where we could just lay on the beach for the week and go out in the evenings.

The flights really easy because its just under two hours, there was a taxi right outside the airport that you could get to Split, but we discovered a shuttle bus for next to nothing that took us to the same place. We then got our ferry to The Isle of Brac where we were all very pleasantly surprised as we had not realised just how beautiful it would be.

Its very relaxed, everyone's really friendly and polite, and there's lots of places to go for drinks and meals.

The beaches are beautiful and there was always more than plenty of space to sunbathe comfortably. The sun comes up early and stays until about 6/7pm.. the sunsets are amazing and its very non touristy so you can enjoy your days relaxing in peace..

The evenings are the perfect temperature for sitting outside until late.

In 2011 my partner and I booked the same apartment and stayed for a week, it wasn't long enough, once you are there you don't want to leave!

Apartments really clean, there's a shop with everything you need two seconds away and two or three different beaches to choose from all within a 5/10 minute walking distance.

If you are on a budget its great because its very cheap out there, but if you have more money to spend you can book a number of different water sports, hire push bikes, quad bikes and travel to various parts of the island.

Everything's very accessible.. the bank, the shops, the ferry, the beaches and the restaurants.. and I would definitely go back for a third time!

Family Holiday Summer 2010

Having not been to Croatia before I was taken aback when arriving into the harbour at Supetar at how lovely it was. The walk up to the apartment gave an insight to the local restuarants etc, there was plenty to choose from. I was delighted to enter the apartment to see how immaculately clean it was. The Kitchen was well equipt with everything you need to cook a full meal, with plenty of Crockery, glasses and cultery, it was very much home from home. As a family it was perfect to also have a washing machine, a real bonus for self catering. The apartment itself was bright and airy, very modern, plenty of cupboards with extra linen and towels.

Our holiday was brilliant and the island was beautiful, the beach and water lovely. I would definately recommend this apartment.

Good Holiday Apartment

this compact apartment is ideally located for beach ,port , and food store. Although it is not large, the terrace,so safe for children, adds to the flexibilty for out side dining and lazing around. Is it reasonably equipped although extra towels and bedding would have been appreciated. My daughter was bothered a bit by Tv noise from the upstairs flat, but it is such a small block of flats that all was usually peaceful. The owner was extremely helpful, particularly with equipment for the children. We ate several times at the restaurant by the sea, Punta. The children were welcomed and food good. if we visit again we woulld certainly rent this flat
