Naushop House Rental Photos and Description
Roomy, 1100 Sq Ft, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2-3
All-Inclusive Price - Naushop is a charming community of 200 single-family homes with quiet streets, brick sidewalks, white picket fences and classic Nantucket architecture. This house is one of only two duplexes that were built in the neighborhood and this listing is for the right half of the building shown with it’s own separate front entrance, off street parking, private front porch and rear deck and private fenced front and back yards. This property is comfortably designed for two adults; however additional arrangements could be made to accommodate a small child as well. Clean linens are provided. Passes are available for unlimited access (all week) to the neighborhood pool, clubhouse and tennis courts, which are two blocks away. The bike path and bus stop are also within a stones throw away from the property. The bathroom was updated in September of 2013 and brand new living room and dining room furniture have been installed for the summer 2014 season. All new curtains have been added throughout the house. Please note: No recent testimonials are shown because I've stopped asking for them (most of my guests are repeat visitors).

Guestbook comments from the owner
I just wanted to send you a quick thank you to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation! The house was perfect, it had everything we needed! We left a boogie board out back with the beach chairs, I figured you might be able to use it. I also left a movie with the DVD collection. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to finish the laundry, we really waited until the very last minute but it still wasn't done. I also left the lilies figuring it would be a nice way for the next couple to arrive.
Thanks again for all of your help and hospitality, we had a great time because of it.
Have a great summer,
Sandy & Rob
I am a Real Estate Broker in Northern Virginia within 20 minutes of the nations capital. I lived on Nantucket between 2006 - 2009 and now enjoy maintaining this duplex as a vacation rental. I make annual trips to Nantucket before and after the summer season to oversee a thorough cleaning, update where necessary and make sure the linens and appointments are in great shape and ready for my summer guests.
I bought this property because it enjoys the best of two worlds - 1) a premium island getaway that is approximately 40% in conservation and will stay that way forever and 2) a lovely classic New England style cluster of 200 single family homes providing a safe neighborhood, quiet streets and easy access to anywhere on this island.
It's the smallest duplex (1 of 4, 2 homes are duplexes) in a neighborhood of big homes. Most of my neighbors don't even know my house is a two-sided duplex - because it looks like a single family house on the outside. My duplex has a fenced front and back yard and front porch that provides loads of privacy. It is located on a high knoll on the island and enjoys a wonderful breeze of ocean air.
