Our historic 1850's Farmhouse is nestled on 38 acres in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania at Indian Lake. Formerly run as a Bed and Breakfast, our rustic country home is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a getaway in the country. There are five bedrooms and three full baths, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and two living rooms - one with fireplace (both with pull out couches). Almost 1900 square feet will allow your group all the space they'll need to enjoy a great time together. (Sleeps 10-14) In addition to the full house rental listed above, we can also offer rentals for smaller groups if desired. There's something for everyone to enjoy!!! The East Coast's largest ATV Park is 5 minutes away with 2500 acres to explore. Hike, bike, fish, hunt - a wealth of outdoor activities surround you. WINTER: Why commit to one resort? Try out 3 different ski resorts within 35 miles: Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Blue Knob. Also enjoy sledding, x-country skiing, sleigh rides and more! Or just kick back and relax next to our fireplace. Sometimes doing nothing for a weekend is the best of all!! Also enjoy the United 93 Memorial, Johnstown Flood Museum, amusement park, drive-in movies, state parks, antiquing and much more!

Additional information about rental rates

  • $200/nt rate includes the 9% lodging tax.
  • *Summer & Holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum. A 5 night minimum applies over July 4th.

    **Please bring sheets and towels for your stay.
    If you prefer linens to be provided for you, please let us know and we can take care of this for an additional $30 fee.

    A non-refundable deposit of one night's rental will be required to secure booking. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks
    prior to your arrival. If booking within 2 weeks, entire payment will be due upon booking.

    We prefer payment through Paypal - we'll send an invoice via e-mail and you can pay securely online. We will accept personal
    checks if needed, as long as there is adequate time for the payment to clear.

    A fully refundable security deposit of $150 will also be required within 2 weeks of your stay. It will be refunded in full once the
    cleaning crew has confirmed that no damage has occurred during your stay.

it is a great place and my kids will never forget it. Huge property we even saw some fresh young bears marks in the mud down the walk path. we also enjoyed indian lake as recommended by the owner who by the way are honnest sweet and very kind people, the marina there has wonderful boats and staff. they have a place for outdoor bonefire. the weather is so good up there we never used the A/C we didn't even know they had one! Suggestion: they should consider having a DSL or broadband or wi-fi access as the cellular reception in the area is quiet poor. we would have come back this year but our car is unfortunately not available at this time.

This is a very nice cottage (a bit old and rustic, but that has its own charm), set in beautiful surroundings. The house itself was clean and well-stocked with essential supplies. Ran into a problem with the water in one of the bathtubs (it wouldn't stop!), but the folks at the emergency number listed were prompt and helpful in getting it fixed quickly.

A good place to unwind, esp with kids, since the property has pretty large grounds to keep them occupied. Indian Lake is very close, a great place for some water activities.

Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable experience for our whole group!
