The Barrett log cabin is a four year old cedar log home. The living room has a fieldstone fireplace from floor to the cathedral ceiling. Two bedrooms downstairs have full size beds, and the Master bedroom has a queen size bed upstairs. The Loft has a futon for two. Full bathrooms upstairs and down. Granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms. Wash machine and dryer, dish washer and microwave. Hardwood floors throughout the cabin with rustic cedar walls and solid wood doors. This spacious cabin is on a dead end street, 1 mile from Hadley point beach and its spectacular sunsets, 6 miles from the visitor center for Acadia National Park. This immaculate and tastefully decorated home will provide the weary hiker, or shopper, with a cozy home to enjoy peaceful evenings by the fire. Pets are considered. No Smoking in the Cabin.

Great Cabin!

The cabin is very comfortable, well maintained, and in a good location to explore the island. Our family had a great time celebrating my father's retirement in Bar Harbor. There were 7 adults, 2 young children, and 1 friendly dog in our group. There was plenty of room in the cabin. We loved the kitchen and the wrap around porch was fantastic!

The Moore family was a fabulous host. Very helpful and friendly!

We look forward to returning to Bar Harbor and will definitely stay here again! We've already recommended it to 5 other families!
