NICE AND COZY HOUSE, WITH NICE VIEW ON THE BAY OF NAPLES AND VESUVIUS.

Sorrento House Rental Photos and Description

Casa Donna Titina - amazing view, Wi-Fi, A/C, 2br/2ba

Casa Donna Titina it has been renovated in 2007, it's located in a quiet, sunny and elevated position surrounded by olives and orange trees and meadows.

It's located just about a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from the center of town in Sorrento, about 20-25 minute drive from the Amalfi coast, and 1/2 hour from Pompeii by train, it's totally worth it to have a car and take day trips from here. The house has shortcut to the town center about a 1.5 km and also a normal road by car, it located 300 meters from the famous congress center Hotel Hilton Sorrento Palace.

You ll be about

15 minute walk from the grocery store and other shops so you can buy food daily (you may get a chance to meet Peppe's mother along the way!).

The access to the house consist in a narrow typical alley uphill, you'll find a private parking inside the lot.

The owner Peppe is your next door neighbor; he will give you a lift by car

when possible. The house is well equipped, large enough to accommodate four people, and it has a nice patio with a great view of Vesuvio. Pepe (the owner) and his family are very friendly.

The access to the inside of the house is from a beautiful little terrace, inside you'll find a large living room with a double sofa bed and TV Sat with Internationals channels, linked to a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, in the same area the first bedroom with a double bed and bathroom.

On the lower floor, a second bedroom with twins bed (can be set as queen size), a bathroom with Hydro-shower, and a washing machine. The house has a secondary entrance from the lower floor.

The best part is getting up the morning to look out of the window at the olive grove directly outside the window and watch the sun rise over the mountain and onto the bay and town below!

Beautiful view

  • 5 of 5
I highly recommend staying here. You cannot find a better view. It is breath taking and well worth the climb to the house. Peppe and his family welcome you with you with open arms and a limoncello on his patio. He helped us get to town and to our car ( we had to leave at the bottom of the hill). The house is well appointed and supplied with everything you will need to cook. Peppe can suggest many fine restaurants if you decide to eat out. The view of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples is wonderful. Four of us stayed here for 5 days and had plenty of room. The house is clean and well kept. If going to Sorrento, there is no better place to stay.

beautiful vacation

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Casa Donna Titina for a week and Peppe and his family made us feel like we were family. Peppe and his family could not have been more helpful and kind. Peppe is a great host and made our stay in this beautiful home the most wonderful vacation experience. He helped us with everything from where to eat and shop to driving us to and from our destinations. The view is amazing and the house is clean, beautiful and inviting. We loved our stay here and recommend it highly. Also if Peppe offers you a dinner on his terrace it is worth the price. The view is excellant and his mother and wife are very good cooks.

Our wonderful experience in Sorrento

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Donna Tittina for two weeks and enjoyed it very much. The house was well- appointed & offered as beautiful a view as advertised. We woke up every morning to a great view of Mt. Vesuvius & the Bay of Naples. Pepe was a gracious host. He lives next door & offered to take us around town & even some points outside Sorrento. We didn't have a car, but we enjoyed walking the stone path down to the city everyday. It is a steep climb but well worth it for our scenic location. The walk is less than a mile to the main square of Sorrento. We ate in most of the time and there was a reasonably priced grocery store at the bottom of the path. The house does sleep four easily as my daughter & granddaughter joined my wife & I. I would strongly recommend Donna Tittina to everyone.

Absolutely Incredible!

  • 5 of 5
First, just go ahead and book it now, you can read all of these reviews later. It's just that great. You will not be disappointed.

As it was our first time driving in Sorrento, it was a little tough getting through the traffic in town to get to Donna Tittina. The owner, Pepe came to meet us at the bottom of the hill to show us the way. The house sits upon this mountain that has an incredible view of the town below, the Bay of Naples, and the surrounding other towns. Pepe is an excellent host that explained where to go, what to do, and best of all how to order the best pizza in town! He gave an excellent run down of the area and surrounding towns and even offered to show us around if we would have liked.

The house itself was wonderful. While it was just my partner and I, the house was more than enough space for a good group of folks. We cooked nightly in our Italian kitchen which made for an even richer experience. It was fun getting up in the morning and making breakfast and then heading down the "short road" (in my best Italian typing accent). The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was a good size, and the rest of the house functioning as a tiny museum with all of the old Italian pieces of memorabilia placed throughout the house.

The house is just about a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from the center of town in Sorrento, about 25-30 minute drive from the Amalfi coast, and about an hour from Pompeii, Salerno, and other towns. It's totally worth it to have a car and take day trips from here. The house is also located about a 15 minute walk from the grocery store and other shops so you can buy food daily (you may get a chance to meet Pepe's mother along the way!)

The best part was getting up the morning to look out of the window at the olive grove directly outside the window and watch the sun rise over the mountain and onto the bay and town below.

We honestly can't wait to return. This will definitely will be the place to go. We will refer all of our friends here and even strangers.

We Loved Our Stay At Villa Donna Tatina

  • 5 of 5
This is a very nice two bedroom villa with great views of the Bay of Sorrento, surrounding towns and the Bay of Naples. Garden on site has lemon trees and lanes leading to town traverse lemon orchards. Owner and host Mr. Pepe is great and was happy to give us lifts and pick us up in town which overcame the distance and elevation from the town center. Would definitely stay there again.
