My partners and I decided we would purchase a home and furnish it just for folks coming to vacation in Albuquerque. We had such a good response that we have since purchased two other homes in the same town house community (listing #'s 134421 and 200716). New Mexico is such a great place to live that we were excited to share to others.
Thanks for checking out our properties!
Robert Klumpp purchased this townhome in 2007
We had a demanding list of requirements:
- We wanted a home that was convenient to some of the best that Albuquerque has to offer. Great restaurants, shops and museums.
- The home had to be convenient to get to (close to the Interstate).
- The home had to be in a friendly neighborhood that was quiet and safe.
- The floor plan had to provide easy access and sufficient privacy.
The Pueblo del Norte town house community perfectly filled all these requirements.
..We came to New Mexico to escape the cold Michigan winter....Robert was wonderful to work with, very helpful. The townhouse was perfect, had a sweet Southwest atmosphere with a quaint fireplace, two full baths, two outdoor patios, comfortable furniture, very nice, even better than pictured.
...We had an extraordinary time staying so close to Old Town, we stayed in February off season, the shops were not overly busy and it was very easy to park and get around town. The restaurants were outstanding..very cozy.
...We took a ride up to Santa Fe took the Turquoise Trail which was worth the trip in it's self. Santa Fe has a lot to offer but our heart is in Old Town.
...The ride up Route 66 in the Nob Hill area offers friendly antique shops....very cool. Thanks again Robert and we hope to come back soon!

My wife and I drove from Austin to Las Cruces for a brief stay, then up to Albuquerque for the tail end of our Christmas vacation. Road weary and with two tired, anxious dogs, I would have accepted a small cot in the middle of the desert as a place to stay.
Thankfully, this was the exact opposite.
This is a really fantastic property, immediately comfortable, super clean and quiet. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. Plenty of room in a quiet and secure complex, the only down side is the somewhat tiny garage; our Mazda 3 just fit. That said, there is plenty of outdoor parking that is very, very close by, and we often just parked the car outdoors.
The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of space to cook for a family. The furniture is super comfy and modern. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable; we slept very, very well. There's some great art on display. If you have dogs, there is a tiny fenced in seating area in back of the house, but you'll want to just take them on a walk. It's a good excuse to see the area.
Has the requisite WiFi and cable. Both operated well, without any issues.
If you're planning a stay in ABQ, you can't do better than this. It is so close to everything that you can leave the car and walk just about anywhere you'd want to see.
I'm a fan; we'll definitely be back.
We found the condo just as described in the listing, clean and well-maintained in a great location. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.
We found the condo to be very accommodating to our group of 4. When first entering the facility I thought the living room area was smaller then the photos deplicted, however, once we settled in we found everything we needed to make our stay completely comfortable. The cleanliness was especially appreciated by all and the location couldn't have been better. Working with Robert was a pleasure.
The house was clean, comfortable, close to nob hill district, 10 min from park n ride for baloon festival, walking district from old towne. We came for Balloon Fest for two nights, poor weather. We ended up going to Santa Fe and this place is easy on/off interstate 40.
Very detailed info prior to checking in.
Very convenient location for many different site seeing opportunities. We stayed for Balloon Fiesta week and couldn't have been happier. Very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Owner was helpful for special request. Overall, you can't go wrong!
Golf: Albuquerque's public courses are great and a real bargain!
Ski: Take the scenic Sandia Peak Tramway (the world's longest; about 10 miles away) and ride to the top of Sandia peak for a day of great family skiing. --- Want more? --- Ski Sante Fe (about an hour's drive), visit Taos, Angel Fire or Red River (about 3 hours north) or Ski Apache (about 2 hours south). New Mexico offers some of the best skiing in the country, but don't tell everyone, we like to keep it a secret!
