Enjoy waking to the sounds and smell of the ocean, enjoying the morning sunrise over Harpswell Sound. This 3+ bedroom home has a large wrap around deck. Private, quiet environment. This home sleeps 8 comfortably as there is a master bedroom with bath on the upper level, another bedroom with full bed on the same level, with bath next door, and the lower level provides a third bedroom with full bed, and additional room with two twin beds. Full bath on the lower level also. No need to bring towels or linens. No need to bring pots and pans, etc. Do stop at the market right in Brunswick , which is approx.10 miles away and pick up your favorite foods . This home is close enough to town, yet feels like a real 'get-away' from it all! *There is a stairway to walk down to the ocean on the low tide, and explore the rocky Maine Coast. No dock for boating but access to the water.

Harpswell is composed of a ten mile peninsula reaching out into the Bay from Brunswick, three large islands - Sebascodegan (Great Island), Orr's and Bailey -which are connected by bridges, and of over 200 smaller islands ranging from Eagle Island to Thrumcap, a speck of an island in Pott's Harbor. That there are 150 miles of shoreline on Harpswell attests to its economic base in the fishing industry and its attraction to visitors who love boating, swimming, and fishing. GREAT!!! can't say enough about this place, good for
families who love space and peace and quiet. Upstairs can
accomodate one family and downstairs another with their
own facilities. THREE bathrooms, what a treat. Close to
all there is to see in this area. Washer and dryer don't need to bring alot of clothes.

Only one drawback, could use some grilling utensils for the gas grill.

A Week In Harpswell

This house was awesome for our family and grandparents, a total of 8 fit perfectly in this home. Not having to bring sheets and towels was a real treat. Really a easy home to fall in love with. Perfect for a getaway from people and busy life. 45 minutes to Portland, 30 to Freeport. The landscape was gorgeous. Early mornings on the wrap around deck were a real treat.

This is a beautiful house in a serene setting. Perfect for a quiet getaway by yourself or spending time with your friends and family. Meals at home or lobster at one of the many local restaurants. Can't be beat....we'll be back!!
