The desire to live in the mountains where we can have easy access to Winter Park and Snowmobiling in the Winter and boating and mountain biking in the Summer. The location of this home was the perfect spot.

Mountain living is easy and care free. We enjoy our the fact that we can come up and just relax. We chose this location because the Home is close to all activities that we enjoy, skiing, boating, snowmobiling, mountain biking and hiking. We can mountain bike from the house to the trails of which there are hundreds of miles of beautiful trails to enjoy. In addition the trail head to the of snowmobile trails in the area is just up the street and when the street is snowed over it is legal to ride our snowmobiles from the house to the trails and all the way into Grand Lake. The Scenery is absolutely beautiful any time of year.

Great Weekend Getaway from Denver

This was our second stay at this wonderful vacation home and everyone said they want to make this an annual tradition, maybe even add a summer trip too!
Both our stays were in February with 6 adults, a teenager, a baby and a toddler and there was plenty of room and extra blankets and pillows for everyone. They also have all the appliances, utensils and spices you need in case you forget something.
What we love most is how open the kitchen, dining and living areas are. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang out and visit whether you are the one cooking, watching TV or playing a game/having a snack at the dining room table. The loft is great for teens or anyone else who may want to play on their phones/tablets or read a book/magazine but still be in range to join the conversation.
The house location is great if you are ice fishing or snowmobiling in the winter or boating or dirt bike riding in the summer. It's also just a few minutes down the road to Grand Lake to do some shopping, grab a bite to eat or grab some last minute items you may have forgotten.
Bonus, the owners are great to deal with and answered all my questions in a timely manner.
Another bonus, we saw a fox, coyote and a moose while we sat around sipping our coffee!

Amazing Stay

This is truly a beautiful home, we all had a great time. The kitchen was the best part. It had every utensil, spice etc that you could wish for. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Another bonus is that you are 2 miles from the trail head so if you snowmobile it is the perfect location. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Owner's Response: Sebastien,

Thank you for the Review! We want our place to be our guests home away from home.

Great Clean Cabin

We had a terrific time at Grand Lake and at the cabin near the lake.

The cabin was clean and was very comfortable. The Master upstairs was perfect for us.

Slept with the windows open and enjoyed the great outdoors. It was a very peaceful area

and we found lots to do. We hiked and boated both Lake Granby and Grand Lake, fished and

even panned for gold. The national Park is just minutes away and we spotted Elk, moose, deer,

mt. sheep and all the little critters---- but not a bear. I would definitely recommend this area and

the cabin to everyone. The cabin was well stocked and we had a wonderful two weeks. Very Relaxing.

Great Family Reunion Time

We booked this cabin to spend some time with extended family members and catch up after not being together for many years. It was the perfect, quiet place to unwind, play games, and enjoy each other's comany. A short drive into Grand Lake for shopping, dining and very unique puttputt, made it very enjoyable. Also close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners were very responsive and cooperative when some unexpected issues arose with the cabin. Corrected immediately. Would definitely recommend and return again. Should note that the master suite is up a flight of stairs, but downstairs bedrooms are quite comfortable. We put the kids upstairs and we hardly heard them. Only down side is that the deck does face a road that is heavily traveled morning and night, but otherwise very quiet.
