Sandbridge is the locals beach. A hidden jewel. Quiet, no crowds. This is a very nicly appointed, top quality unit!

Walk from our unit to the ocean's edge for a relaxing stroll along the beach, come back and enjoy cozy time by the fireplace with a spectacular sunset !!

Wow, where do I begin... This is a 2 level corner penthouse unit in Phase II of The Sanctuary at False Cape, premier upscale condominium unit at the extreme south end of Sandbridge. The condo building sits on the Atlantic ocean, this unit has a view of the ocean from the top floor and both balconies feature spectacular views of Back Bay with all of its wildlife splendor and Breathtaking Sunsets!!

Media room with 50' plasma, surround sound, PS3 with Blueray player. 3 other large flat screens. Security-encrypted WI-FI high speed wireless Internet. In the master enjoy King size split fully adjustable beds with massage. Nicely appointed, yet very comfortable furniture. Washer/dryer in the unit. And that's just the unit, this place is a truly spectacular! The Cabana Bar has a swim-up bar, Viking gas grills in the common areas, game room, multiple pools, 2 fitness centers with TVs at the treadmills.

About Skip Scribner

My wife 'Charlie' and I 'Skip' are Soulmates and enjoy spending what free time we have together, especially relaxing and watching the amazing sunsets. Recently we traveled south and went horseback riding on another beach on the Atlantic ocean. Our condo reflects our relaxed attitude and desire for a warm and inviting atmosphere where friends and family can connect and create memories.

My wife and I love the ocean. I (Skip)am born and raised in Virginia Beach, spent most of my time on the Cheaspeake Bay as a kid, but always loved the remote location and quiet of Sandbridge Beach. It truly is the beginning of the Outer Banks, and if you are looking to save 3+ hours of driving to Nags Head or Corolla, then this is your location. Our destination is truly a 'resort', with pools, work-out rooms, the ocean, an awesome on-site restaurant that will be serving both soft drinks and alcohol at the pools this season. We are about 45 minutes from the Norfolk ORF airport. The resort area (number streets) is about a 1/2 hour drive. You pass Ocean Breeze Water Park

What makes this condo unique

Morning coffee and a walk on the beach, what could be better (well maybe using your metal detector while you walk along and find treasures left from the beach goers). Our Condo is perfect for all, with 3000 square feet on 2 levels, plenty of 'personal' space to be had. And if you have friends or family with special needs like medical oxygen or wheelchair access, you have contacted the right guy. I own a medical equipment rental company and have special rates for my guests.

Payments can be made by personal check. Rentals made for arrivals less than 3 weeks of booking must be paid by either credit card or certified funds. There is a 4% add on fee for use of a credit card or PayPal Credit card use.
Fees And Taxes All prices quoted are inclusive. We have included rents, taxes, standard exit cleaning. ** Off, Spring and Fall season allow for stays of less than a week. In those cases, a linen fee of $95.00 is applied for stays of less than 4 nights.
*** There is a $500 fully refundable damage deposit that we return within 7 days of departure.

Our stay was very pleasant, and skip made an effort to make sure our stay went smoothly. We particularly enjoyed the westward view--it made for a good sunset over the water that one typically doesn't get on the Atlantic.

Owner's Response: The Sunsets are the BEST . The best of both worlds, play in the ocean surf during the day and relax to the most georgous sunsets north of Key West. Beautiful, comfortable, clean, plenty of space....wish we could have stayed longer. The media room provided a nice little sanctuary for our 3 early teen boys. Beautiful sunset, hard to find on an east coach beach. The beach was gorgeous and clean, but the water was too cold for swimming at this time of year. With temps on the 80's, it would have been nice if at least one pool was open. They looked ready, but signs said still closed. Would stay again and would recommend highly to anyone!

What can I say- beautifully appointed, spacious and the owner was wonderful to work with. We all kept saying we how we felt so at home and that we had such beautiful scenery to gaze at. We went to the restaurant across the street for brunch ($2 bloody mary's) and that was terrific...it was also a tip from Skip. I think all the girls on the trip are planning on a return visit...It is just a jewel of a place.

very clean place and the owner is very easy and nice to deal with .my family has been coming to this place for a number of years and plan on keep coming back. only one thing i would change is the "media "room should be made into a bedroom with beds (bunkbeds) .

Excellent condo

Our 2 families stayed at this beautiful Sandbridge condo. We loved the master suite on the 2nd fl. The room was huge and the master bathroom completely updated. The main floor was awesome as well with a great kitchen and granite counters. The location was perfect for our families. We walked to the nature preserve one day and played at a playground on the way. The restaurant across the street was surprisingly good so we went twice. They even have live music on the weekend. The children had a great time at the beach as well as the pool.
