This NEWLY RENOVATED (pictures coming soon!) smoke free single family centrally air-conditioned reverse living home is located in tranquil Holgate on LBI & is 2 houses to the guarded beach. The home features fenced yard, wi-fi, accommodations for 8 with a NEW master suite with a queen size bed, NEW private bath and cable TV & VCR, a cozy guest b/r with a queen size bed, small color TV and ocean view, & two additional b/r with two twin beds each. There is a NEW laundry room with full size w/d. The house offers two large fully furnished decks with loungers, tables, umbrellas, chairs & gas grill. The upper deck provides partial views of the ocean, Little Egg Inlet, the Atlantic City Skyline & the bay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, silverware, etc. There are also ceiling fans throughout the house. The living room is equipped with flat screen high def cable TV, VCR, DVD & Stereo w/ iPod dock & CD

Additional Vacation Rental Features: The address is 4 West McKinley Avenue, Holgate, N.J. 08008. Home has 2 zone central air-conditioning. Local telephone service is provided. There is Cable TV and a VCR in the Master Bedroom. The house is equipped with Wi-fi and a flat screen high definition TV in the living room. The house is appointed with carpet, wood laminate and ceramic tile flooring throughout. House also offers an outdoor shower. Unfortunately, pets and smoking indoors are absolutely prohibited.

Convenient, comfortable

The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our inquiries; instructions and terms were clear and thorough. Our security deposit was returned promptly. The home itself was comfortable for our family of 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 grandparents. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the large deck area, the quiet location, and the short walk to the beautiful beach.

Without detailing our other impressions here, suffice it to say the house and amenities could use some refreshing; I'm sure the owners will take care of that at the end of the season.

Very good stay with one small issue.

The house was very, very good. The only hesitation I have is that the air conditioning wasn't quite right for the downstairs bedrooms - it was cool but humid down there. We played with the thermostat at the bottom of the stairs but it was still humid.

Otherwise the house was great, and I look forward to staying there again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect location, perfect for 2 families

We stayed June 25-July 2, 2011. The place is perfect for 2 families as it is split into 2 levels. Directly next to 2 beaches....1 guarded, the other boarders the bird sanctuary and it's gorgeous. Great deck and all the kitchen supplies you'll ever need!

Lovely!

Nice, clean, bright and very close to the beach!!! Quick drive to kids activities (don't miss the water park!) Extremely convenient to have small deli/grocery store on corner. Store is very expensive, but saves a car ride if you forgot mayo for your sandwichs like we did. Don't miss the walk down to the bay for Sunset! Owner couldn't be nicer or easier to work with.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children

Loved the house, especially the location being so close to the beach. Nicely appointed and well priced. Looked at many other homes for more $$$ and did not get as much. See ya next year !!!
