Views Views Views-Spectacular Mtn Views and Peaceful Setting

We have stayed at this property twice now and both times were absolutely perfect. The house is clean, warm and perfectly appointed. We would return home from skiing and could hang all our wet items immediately in the mud room upon entering from the garage. Then we'd head straight to the hot tub on a protected deck to warm up and enjoy the spectacular views. The kitchen is perfectly laid out for cooking for our family -- and best of all the beds are warm and comfortable. We will definitely return!

The home and furnishings are immaculate and definitely live up to the description and pictures. I have zero complaints about the property and we found everything to be in great shape. The transaction was very smooth and the owners were helpful. I would consider staying here again but would have to request that the owners turn off all the surveillance they have on the house as it made us a bit uncomfortable. We encountered several instances over our stay that conversations with the owners made it obvious that they were monitoring the property a little more closely than what I am comfortable with. Keep in mind that we are a family and had a very low key stay not something that should have given anyone any concern.

We loved this house from the minute we drove up the road. Everything about it is perfect. It was immaculate throughout. It was very exciting walking through the house and checking out all the rooms. It really is huge, the bathrooms are huge, the bedrooms are huge. The beds are absolute heaven. It was warm and snuggly. Lovely to have the two fireplaces.

I found this house on the internet after looking for quite some time. We are from New Zealand and have never been to Lake Tahoe before, so really weren't quite sure what to look for. Once I found this house, every other house I looked at paled in comparison. Our communication with Gus and Gail confirmed that we had made the right choice. Right from our first phone call, they were incredibly helpful, and very friendly. We even decided to stay another night (luckily we could) because we enjoyed it so much. Gus and Gail met us personally in San Francisco to give us back our deposit. We were really pleased to have met them.

The hot tub was amazing. How gorgeous, sitting in a hot tub with snow falling, and snow covered trees. It was definately the best way to top off a great day skiing. And the ski fields are so close. Heavenly is about 10 minute drive, we also drove to Sierra at Tahoe twice, 30 minutes approx (not far anyway). Had we more time we would have driven to the other ski fields further north.

We all enjoyed the wireless internet. Great for letting friends in NZ know what we were up to, checking on ski conditions and weather etc. The kitchen had everything you would need, nice to wake up to fresh coffee brewing.
We also had 3 friends stay a few nights with us, plenty of room for everyone. In total we had 6 children, ranging from 11 to 17, who loved the wii, lots of singing drifted upstairs!
On the two days we could not ski the children played for hours outsisde in the snow. They were very happy.

All our meals were cooked in the house, so we didn't need to eat out. The supermarket is very close.

This house is a definate MUST for anyone, any age. Trust me, you will LOVE it. Our family would love to go back. Next time we won't travel anywhere else, just Lake Tahoe.
