What a great find

We loved this house in Pezenas. It was in a great location, only about 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town; it was really spacious, a bit like a tardis, we really didn't expect so much space, well equipped and had great outside space. Bizarrely the outside space is actually in the first floor, not the ground floor, it has a very large enclosed paved area, including the swimming pool, with some areas covered by a roof, offering welcome shade.
If I had to find a negative, it did have a very small old style portable TV. It was great that there was Sky and we could watch some channels from home, but it was a bit of a struggle, particularly trying to watch the Olympics Opening ceremony!
Pezanas is a great town. It has a real buzz, with old cobbled back streets, with delightful small shops, a large market in Satrurday, local wine tasting on a Friday (during July and August) and a great bar and cafe atmosphere.
All in all we loved it! We've holidayed in France many times, but this really is the best yet, both the house and the location.
