On the Cape without Cape traffic! Just off of Cape Cod, 50 minutes from Boston, waterfront house on a private beach. If you like swimming, fishing, boating, shell fishing, kayaking or bird watching, this is the place for you. The neighborhood is small and friendly with lots of family activities nearby; water park, golf and mini golf as well as cinema and shopping. Short drive to Plymouth Plantation, Heritage Plantation, New Bedford Whaling Museum or Battle Ship Cove. The Cape Cod Canal is a favorite place to hike, bike, roller blade or fish. There are whale watch boats and canal cruises from Onset. The year-round beach house is newly renovated, new appliances, central a/c, deck facing the beach. Fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen with gas cooking, dishwasher, microwave. Other amenities include linens and towels, washer & dryer, grill, cable TV, DVD. Use the outdoor shower after a day at the beach then relax on the deck overlooking the water and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

On the Southcoast of Massachusetts, Wareham is on Buzzards Bay, near all the attractions of Cape Cod and Rhode Island. There are many great restaurants close by or within a half hour drive. Lots of family activities nearby as well. Tour the Cape Cod canal, spend a day deep sea fishing, visit museums on the Cape or in New Bedford, including the Whaling Museum and Battleship Cove. Enjoy great the CC Baseball League and see future pros. The Wareham Gatemen has free Cape Cod League baseball games at the local high school one mile from the house. You can go antiquing, walk on the canal, or spend a day at local outlets. If it's not beach weather, there's a multi-theater cinema, bowling, and library nearby. Lots of golf courses, mini golf, and tennis close by as well.

My family and I travelled from Las Vegas to Wareham and found a wonderful home away from home. It was right there on the beach. An excellent location for just relaxing and of course enjoying the beach front home. Everything mentioned in the description was right on point. We travelled with four children and the accommodations were great. We were able to have home cooked meals as well as eat out. Kool Kones seemed to be a great locals spot. Not to mention the Shaw's grocery store conveniantly located just a short distance away. There was also a excellent breakfast place diner/cafe close nearby too. The food was excellent. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have the best getaway spot ever. The other residents were peaceful, quite and friendly. The is a lot of pride of ownership and warmth throughout the home. I give this beach home two thumbs up and would certainly do it again.
