Our home offers you five sleeping areas: four queen beds and a bunk room that sleeps four -- for a total of 12 people. Additional sleeping space is available in our Bunk House during the summer months -- sleeps an additional 6 people. There are four full baths, the kitchen/dining area will easily accommodate your group. There is a comfortable enclosed library/TV room, a spacious living room with a vaulted ceiling and spectacular views. Two wood stoves add extra warmth and ambiance in the cooler months.

A special part of our property is our lower level which is a fully equipped area for a second family group. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a bunk room that sleeps four, and a full kitchen as well! This unique set-up provides the opportunity to really create some space if it's needed!

Need even more sleeping spaces? As mentioned, we have a Summer Bunk House that is beside our garage. It is a tastefully finished area that has two rooms, a sitting area in the over-sized hallway. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other area is a large space that has a queen, full and twin bed.

The covered porch has six wood rocking chairs, perfect for your lazy days. Outdoor amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, picnic tables and additional outdoor furniture. The surrounding woods and field have a walking trail as well and nearby State Lands and provide additional space. The Gallatin River is just a short walk away, we are the 1st home next to the river! Perfect for fishing, swimming and relaxing!!

Why Mary Sadowski chose Bozeman

This property is owned by Mary, who lives in Bozeman, and a few other out-of-town partners who LOVE Montana! It's a very special place given it's location beside the river, and we go above and beyond taking care of everything we possibly can to ensure you have a fabulous stay. It offers great privacy it and yet it's close to grocery shopping, the airport and other amenities which is a real bonus.

What makes this house unique

Knowing what people like in a vacation home, Mary was keen to acquire Cameron Bridge Retreat and open the doors to guests! It's private, on the river, spacious, well cared for, it has character and is just a cool awesome place! You'll make those special memories that last a lifetime here!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We returned -- 2nd time this year and we will return again soon, no doubt! The tree, lights and everything so special made our family Christmas home away from home spectacular! Again, we didn't need to leave much or venture far -- all we needed was here! So nice to see the family relax and make it "home" so quickly.

Thank you for little touches, for a great location, reasonable rates and EVERYTHING!

Great getaway!

  • 5 of 5
Wife and I stayed three nights at this wonderfully spacious place. Beautiful timber frame/log home with very comfortable beds and baths. It was a great place to come back to after exploring Yellowstone. Everything was as described. Lots and lots of space for lots of people. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to the beautiful state of Montana!

Fourth of July perfection

  • 5 of 5
Our family of six adults and one toddler from Boston and San Francisco thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mary's wonderful Montana log home, complete with a crib and booster seat. We wanted a home with western character and that's exactly what we found. The home is nicely decorated with a western flair. Loved the Edward Curtis photographs of native Americans! Our toddler and family enjoyed splashing in the creek along the property and some of us hiked to the river for a catch or two.

Though Montana along with most of the U.S. was experiencing an extreme heat wave and the master bedroom/loft was hot, we relished sitting in the rockers on the porch sipping gin and tonics and having cheese and crackers after a great day fishing on both the Gallatin and Yellowstone rivers. We opened windows during the night and closed them and the shades during the day which helped with the heat, since it cooled off nicely at night. Oh, and the sunsets and star-gazing were fabulous!

We went to the Livingston Roundup, played charades, and watched "The River Runs Through" various nights, savoring just why we had picked this slice of God's green earth for our family vacation. We cooked in most nights, grilling on the porch, and found everything we needed for meal prep and dining. Condiments, tea, coffee, good food left from previous renters, etc. Everything was clean and attractive. The nearby Gallatin River Lodge has a delightful setting and serves delicious meals.

Thanks, Mary, for sharing your bit of paradise with us! You were a pleasure to work with.

Where is the 6th star? Here!

This is an awesome house. Hard to believe that it is rented out - so many personal trinkets, from the Adirondack Fisherman's Club lamp to the closet full of games. So peaceful and yet close to all you need.
My ONLY caveats:
-Don't leave your shoes outside (this is wildlife country after all)
-Bring your own martini glasses and shaker - EVERYTHING else is provided en masse.
I just hope that I will have another opportunity to come to this marvel.
Thanks so very much, Mary.

Owner's Response: Thank you Ulrich!

I hope everyone enjoys our property as much as you have, and that all can appreciate the great lengths we go to make it a comfortable home with every detail attended to. We certainly strive to be the brightest star in this land of Big Sky country!

And just so you know, we recently posted a bounty on any shoe-taking wildlife thieves so I trust this Wild West West will yet be tamed some day... till then, best to keep your shoes inside!

Fondly, Mary Sadowski

amazing home and location

  • 5 of 5
we rented this home for family traveling to bozeman for a wedding. an added plus is that the home was only 1.5 miles from the bride's home and the wedding site. huge space; everyone could get away and find a quiet spot if they wanted. having the bunkhouse available let the groom have some space and time to himself. mornings had everyone gathering on the porch on the rocking chairs planning the day. there were 12 of us ranging from 11 to 79 and 3 dogs. there was something for everyone. the guys enjoyed the fishing that was just steps away. we've used VRBO before but i've never seen a better stocked kitchen - condiments in the fridge and spices that were available. we've always been asked to clean out the fridge and throw perfectly good food away before - not here. the freezer had some remaining huckleberry ice cream when we arrive and some rocky road when we left. we'd come back in a heartbeat. mary and her team made our wedding week a great one and everyone left having a great time at cameron bridge retreat.

WOW!

Want to know how to have a fantastic time in Montana? Attend a wedding in the mountains outside of Bozeman, surround yourself with people you love, and stay together in a fantastic log home. Without exaggeration, our recent stay in Montana was the best family reunion ever, due in large part to the Cameron Bridge Retreat. Everything we read about it was true; accessible yet private location, the Gallatin River running by, wildlife on the property, beautiful meadow view, grassy yard to play on, etc. The very best part was the beautiful log home; plenty of space for everyone, comfortable bedrooms and beds, lots of windows with great views and cool breezes, the world’s most perfect porch for morning coffee, private bathrooms with plenty of hot water, plenty of soft furniture to lounge around or take a nap, a cozy kitchen that was fully outfitted. I could go on and on. This amazing retreat offered us time to spend with each other in a very comfortable setting that encouraged you to feel at home. We ALL hope to come back to Cameron Bridge Retreat and visit more of your great state.
Bravo to Mary and her staff!
