This well appointed & fully equipped 1 bedroom unit at Dominica Beach on 41st street, Oceanside, Ocean City, Maryland is on the second level with a terrific view of the ocean! The unit sleeps 4, has a queen-sized bed, queen-sized sleeper sofa, color TV with VCR/DVD and cable, deck, dining area, fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator w/icemaker, washer/dryer, lots of storage space; full bath with hairdryer. Private parking space. Private, locked storage unit on ground level. Outside shower for cleaning off from the beach. Use of beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogie board, beach toys, stroller, pac-n-play, etc. We supply all paper products and detergents. Only a short walk, about 50 paces from the bottom of the steps to the sand dunes. No streets to cross. On the corner, across Ocean Highway is Rita's, a Dough Roller & the Convention Center. Adults & Families Only. No smoking and no pets allowed.

Notes: Unit has TV/DVD with cable and nice selection of family movies as well as games for kids. Locked storage unit has beach chairs, beach umbrella, toys, boogie board, stroller, pac-n-play, extra paper products, toiletries; bottled water (if desired). We encourage guests to bring their own towels and sheets; however, in the event one forgets, we keep a supply in the storage unit. We provide dish detergent, laundry detergent and fabric softener. Towels are not be be dried over the railings (condo rules). The condo also retains the services of a maintenance man. Housekeeping services can be provided on a daily or weekly basis at an optional, additional cost.

Contact Us: Terrific view of the ocean! Wooden walkways to each unit's storage space and maintains the outside lights, which come on automatically at dark. Each week the outside is cleaned and maintained. On the balcony we have a nice seating group and comfortable decorative chair pads. There is private, covered parking for unit #7 . We offer recycling bins as well. The beach is very expansive and has a lifeguard.

Getting Around!: On the corner of 41st and Ocean highway is a bus stop, that is a great way to travel to the pier and inexpensive. The boardwalk begins at 28th street, where you definitely want to get some crabs at Phillips! Seacrets nightclub is at 49th street -- The dough roller on the corner of 41ST is great for breakfast -- serves until 1:00 p.m. Its worth the trip to drive to Rehobeth -- about a 40 minute drive for the tax free outlets! And don't forget to take the kids for a nature visit to Assataeague Island and see the wild ponies. We always recommend that folks take a ride on the Sea Rocket -- a really cool speedboat! For a special night out and really terrific food, try the Marlin Moon Restaurant. They make a mean Moontini! But make reservations. If it rains, don't fret, we keep a nice assortment of movies in the condo, but OC has several movie theaters as well as indoor golf.

Lovely Week at the Beach

I very much enjoyed my six-night stay in August 2009. Everything was exactly as described, and the owner does an excellent job of letting you know ahead of time what will be provided; saves packing extra items. The unit was extremely clean and well-appointed. The balcony with an ocean view was perfect. The unit is a quick half-block (if that) walk to the beach, so it is extremely convenient.

I would certainly stay here again. The little touches make it feel as comfortable as home.

My Stay

The condo was as described; but was not ready when we arrived. It had not been cleaned and after 13 hours on the road, we were pretty disappointed. (The Conodo-Keepers did have someone show to do a quick clean, and I did talk with the owners.{not their fault}) I am very glad I brought my own towels and sheets, yet if one forgets you can use theirs. After the initial first day, we did enjoy ourselves. The location is good if you have anything going on at the convention center (which is right across the street) and you are very close to the ocean. I would still recommend this condo to others, they have a great mattress and the fold out couch was good also. They have a bus system in OC and wonderful restaurants.
Owner's Response: Condokeepers tried to get in to clean the unit timely, but the previous guests did not check out until much past their time; therefore, they were unable to get in there before the new folks arrived. This is the first time that has happened, and Condokeepers had to make a return trip, which they did promptly, and clean the unit. I appreciate our second guest's understanding and willingness to come back.

Great getaway for two

Everything is just as described in the listing. The condo is neat, clean and nicely furnished. The area is quiet, so it's perfect for a couple's getaway. The beach is not too crowded and it's just a few steps away. The boardwalk is nearby, and there is lots to do in Ocean City! Be sure to go to Hoopers for all you can eat crabs, and rent a jet ski for some fun in the bay. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends, and will probably go back.

What an amazing time

The place was exactly as described and feet from the beach. It located in a very convient location only a shot drive to the board walk and withing walkind distance of a lot of stuff. Condo was very clean and well kept, had a very unique design inside for everthing such as lamps, mirrors, shelves etc. Place is i'd say perfect for couples space and location wise. It's located on a more quiter side of the beach. Everything inside was actually definitelyfarely new. No old rusty items in the condo. The only thing that it didn't have that i'd recomend was a iron board/iron.

I would def recomend as it was reasonably priced and i would visit again in the future!
