WE HAVE WATER IN OUR COVE!! DEEP WATER COVE WILL NOT DRY UP!! Great lake front home in Lago Vista on the beautiful Lake Travis. Private cove for swimming and located directly next to boat ramp. Home has open feel inside with large family room and open kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The home sleeps 14 +. Large deck overlooking the lake for a relaxing experience. 'Party room' or second den/sun room downstairs. Kitchen is fully stocked with all your dining needs. Fireplace. Washer and Dryer. Satellite TV. VCR/DVD player.

Best Vacation Ever

This home was amazing, the views were breathtaking and after our stay this will defiantly be a yearly trip. Thanks to the owners for all their consideration and smoothness in making our vacation the best ever. The home was a great location and accommodated our large group perfectly. We will defiantly recommend this home to others and can't wait to visit again.

It was so beautiful. Pictures did not do it justice. The house was beautifully done - love the decor. We had the best time just sitting outside, watching the deer and visiting. We ended up renting a pontoon boat on Saturday and enjoyed the lake - thanks for the suggestion of the rental place :) It worked out well and they even gave us a discount b/c the lake was so low.

Thanks again for helping us make our yearly trip so enjoyable.

getaway weekend

we had an excellent time at this lakehouse. it has amazing views and deer that walk up to the back yard like puppies. it was amazing. even though the lake was low there is an open boat ramp next door along with a floating pier to swim off of or pull your boat and jet skis up to. there was also a local marina to rent boats from.
the house was well decorated with plenty of room for all 15 of our guest. the rooms were nicely decorated with nice linens and soft pillows. the house has beautiful lake views from every room.
the deck outside was an excellent place for all of us to hang out and relax with amazing views of the lake. there were two grills, one charcoal and one propane to accommodate all types of grillers.
there is also a local hangout that has karaoke, jungle gym and great burgers. perfect for families or adults looking for something to do.
we are defiantly going to book this house again next year and would recommend it to others.

Disappointed

This property at one time was probably beautiful and terrific, it is older and definitely needs some TLC. Absolutely no place to swim, the picture showing the short walk to the cove is not current, although the lake was very very low I was assured there was adequate swimming, not true. Wished I had rented a condo with a pool instead.
Owner's Response: You know some people just amaze me... In numerous emails to this renter I stated that Lake Travis is not at the current level and swimming is available but not ideal as it is shown on the website pictures. I told her every time I spoke to her that you could swim (we do) but the water is extremely low and not as pictured. I tried to explain where the water level currently was but without her every seeing the lake and/or property it was very difficult. After a few weeks of emails she then sent me this in an email "thanks Carrie, my daughter has reserved a boat nearby for 5 hours on Saturday, we meet them at the marina" leading me to believe they would not be swimming in the cove anymore and out on the lake like most people do when visiting a lake. We do not have a pool and if she wanted to swim in a pool then yes she should have chosen a hotel but we rent a LAKE house and provide for LAKE access.

I post complete information on the home and show several pictures (as many as allowed by the website) so that everyone sees what they are renting. Lake Travis is at is lowest point in more than 30 years, this is addressed to all my renters. If you are not interested in swimming in a lake then you should choose to vacation elsewhere and stay at a hotel.

Girl Friends Weekend

We always do a 'girls trip' every year. This year was the best and we are seriously considering renting this home again for next years trip. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The house is very nicely decorated and every evening we would sit on the deck and feed the deer corn while we enjoyed the view of the lake and margaritas! The house keeper came by on our first day to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed. She recommended a little place down the road we could eat at. The water is so close you just walk down a gentle slope to the cove to swim. Plenty of parking and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. It is an older home but the inside is very well kept and had new wood floors. Thanks for a great weekend!
