Notes: All on 1 level and easy walk to beach with little ones. . These are private beaches and the end of every street. Ice cream truck visits every hour or so. Not set up for a wheel chair but perfect for someone who does not want stairs. There is 1 flight of stairs down to the beach with a bench at the top.

This is a wonderful place to stay with small children, its in brand new condition and has a fenced in yard for children to play. Each cottage is totally private with separate entrances, yards and parking.The unit next door is the same and there is a door you can open between the yards so they connect if you take both cottages This is great if grand parents or another family wants to vacation with you. Located in an historic seaside neighborhood of doll house cottages and summer estates. The perfect spot. There are great shops in town. See town of Harwhich website for more details.

Fall for Harwich Sept 10-Oct 12: Fall for Harwich. Part of the famous fall cranberry festival. There are numerous culinary and family events. The chamber of commerce has a complete list.

Other Activities: Trampolines, go carts , water bumper cars , batting cage and mini golf 1 mile

Lovely cottage for family break on Cape Cod

We stayed in this cottage for a week in August O8 and were delighted with it. We had travelled from the UK and booked the whole thing over the internet, which is never easy as you are not sure what you are getting, but we were really pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found such a lovely, new, spick and span place. It was perfect for our small family (two adults and one son) - plenty of room, well laid out, everything worked, the garden was a bonus we weren't really expecting. It genuinely is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Harwichport also turned out to be a great base from which to explore the Cape - we travelled up to Provincetown and over to Hyannis in one direction and Chatham in the other and all our journeys were quick and easy from Harwichport. We played golf, went cycling, kayaking, played baseball, swam in the sea all within half an hour of the cottage. The family that own the cottage were staying in the other side of the compound when we were there and they were very helpful - our children even ended up playing together! I would thoroughly recommend the cottage as we had a really excellent week there

Quiet area

The house is at the end of a small (soft road) dead-end, so it was very quiet. The beach was actually about 3 blocks away, but it was a lovely walk or bike ride. The nearby town is very quaint, and you're far enough away from Hyannis to not have the traffic, but close enough to visit that area. The house itself is very comfortable for a family of 4. New renovation complete with fenced-in backyard, shed (for bikes), grill, table & outside shower! The small washer & dryer were a nice addition. And, the owners were a lovely family. We really enjoyed our stay.
