Newly renovated and we are right on Turtle Beach with the most spectacular view of the aqua blue ocean. Our unit is on the 6th floor of The Makaha Beach Cabanas with a very private beach within a gated building. When we renovated we first gutted the condo and started from scratch to create the perfect Beach Condo so you could view the Ocean front from every room. It's completely open style living with all the luxuries of any five star hotel, but with plenty of privacy. This very private beach cove, is still undiscovered by most of the tourists. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and want a romantic vacation with your loved one, this is the place to stay. Your bedroom is right on the Ocean and it a wonderful experience to be put to sleep by the sound of the waves hitting the shore and then wake to the most beautiful sparkling aqua blue sea and watch the Turtles and Dolphins from your Lanai. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Makaha is located on the Leward shore of the island of Oahu. This is known as the sunny side of the island as it gets very little rain. Only 40 minutes from Honolulu Airport and 20 minutes up the coast from the famous five star Ko Olina Resort. Not much happens in Makaha, it's quiet, peaceful and the perfect place to kick back and unwind. The setting is truly paradise as our condo sits right on the white sandy beach-front with nothing in front of you but the spectacular aqua blue waves. There is lots of privacy, no crowds and no one is in a hurry! This is really paradise.

  • Bathroom has been completely gutted and newly renovated. The spacious shower is designed with frosted glass tiles in a soft aqua with luxurious antique brown fixtures. The wash sink is set in the the granite counter-top and Maple cabinets that match the Kitchen. Everything is new and top of the line.

  • The Bedroom over looks the ocean, where you can hear the waves all night long. There is a Queen bed with a brand new luxury pillow-top mattress and lots of new fresh soft fluffy pillows. A beautiful pastel all cotton quilt in a soft sea foam green with custom made floral euro decorator pillows. Sheets are soft green and 100% cotton. As a courtesy to our Tenants, we replace our linens and pillows on a regular basis.

We refund 100% of all Deposits, as long as we receive written notice (emails accepted) forty-five (45) days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Magnificent Makaha Sunsets

We drove around the island twice going to other beaches. This condo is located on the most beautiful beach on the island. It is very private and the sunsets are awe inspiring. We saw turtles in the water from the balcony. We slept with the sliding doors open on our balcony every night. We had a wonderful breeze and were lulled to sleep by the crashing waves.
The condo is beautiful and perfect for two. Since there was no freezer, we bought a small styrofoam cooler to keep ice in, which solved the problem. The internet ad said we would have internet access, but we did not. My sister and her husband rented the owner's other condo #159314. They DID have internet access, although it was not advertised in the ad for that condo. So, I think they just had it listed on the wrong ad. It was not a big deal since we used the computer in my sister's room when needed. Their room was equally beautiful.
Two sisters clean the condos. I would like to thank them because the condo was immaculate when we arrived.
The owner, Laura, was very nice and easy to deal with. She provided excellent suggestions. We went to the Paradise Cove Luau she suggested at Ko Olina. It was great!
Tacos and More is a great little Mexican restaurant nearby with excellent authentic Mexican food. Don't bother going to the Red Baron Pizza. The food was not good. For great Italian food, go to "Mediterranea" on King Street. They have the best gnocchi we've ever eaten. And don't miss out on Leonard's Malasadas.
There is a swap meet at the Aloha Stadium on Wed., Sat., and Sunday. This is the cheapest place for souvenirs with a huge variety of items with something for everyone. They all barter.
You will definitely need a car since Makaha is 37 miles each way to Waikiki. But, the drive is well worth it for this beautiful, clean condo and 'Secret Beach'. We highly recommend this condo.

The best way to stay in Hawaii

Staying on the West side of the Island was the best choice we could have made. The condo was beautiful, well maintained and very modern. The beach was very quiet and private. We saw plenty of fish and sea turtles in the water and enjoyed the sunset from the condo and out on the beach. We absolutely had the best veiw on the island. We were worried about not having AC but when everything is open you get a great breeze. This was the best way to see Oahu with out blowing your budget. For the coffee lovers there is a Starbucks a few miles from the condo. We would do this again. Thanks Laura

Great Time at the Condo

We had a great time in Hawaii and adding to stay the beach and the condo were beautiful. The condo had beach equipment that was used and enjoyed. It was a great trip and this condo on the beach is lovely. Would recommend for people who want to have a romantic getaway.

Beautiful Condo Right on the Beach

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii. Both the beach and the condo were beautiful. We golfed both the Makaha Country Club and the Resort - each just 5 minutes away - and thoroughly enjoyed both courses. We also really appreciated that the condo had beach equipment for us. In fact, our trip was perfect – the weather was even perfect the whole time. We enjoyed the Ko Olina Resort lagoons and Roy’s Restaurant there too. We toured the entire island of Oahu (as far as the roads would take us) and even climbed Diamond Head. It was a great trip and this condo on the beach is lovely.

The ice problem was resolved for us by buying ice and putting the bag in a bowl in the refrigerator. It lasted a couple of days that way.

Missing it already.

We just returned home after a wonderful stay in this condo.The suite was exactly as advertised, beautifully appointed with top of the line reno's and spotlessly clean. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. The owners were extremely easy to deal with and very helpful.
The beach is amazing and uncrowded. Some days the surf was too rough to get into the ocean but a few days it was calm and we were able to snorkle with the turtlles. We were even lucky enough to spot whales and dolphins!! One day a rare and endangered Monk Seal came onto the beach and stayed for the whole day! The Biologist that came to check on her said there are fewer than 1000 left in the world.
The building and parking lot are gated and very secure with great security people on patrol all night. We met many residents during our stay and they were all so friendly and helpful that we will keep in touch and look forward to returning to see them again.The only things we missed were not having a freezer or a land line.
Owner's Response: We so much appreciate a tenant taking the time to leave a note on our webpage. Please let us know if it is important to you to have a freezer in the unit as we are considering purchasing one. The refrigerator are the newest type with under counter drawers, all done in beautiful stainless and provide lots of space. There is also a separate under the counter Beverage cooler that has two drawers for wine and lots of space for water and soda storage.
