Canada Select 3.5 Star Rated, Sandy Spruce is located in North Carleton, Prince Edward Island, on the shores of the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait. Only ten minutes from Confederation Bridge, we are convenient to Summerside, Charlottetown and Cavendish. The cottage is tucked amongst a grove of spruce trees - the backyard overlooking the beach with spectacular views of the bridge and breathtaking sunsets. We offer quaint accommodations with all of the conveniences of home. This newly renovated (2007) three-bedroom cottage sleeps six and is appointed with updated appliances and furnishings. After exploring the island, relax on the deck and listen to the rhythm of the gentle waves. Children will enjoy playing on the back lawn, along with swimming and exploring in the warm waters. At low tide you can walk the sandy beach for hours, surrounded by gorgeous seascapes and landscapes.

The Sandy Spruce is centrally located and less than ten minutes from the Confederation Bridge. It is within a 20 minute drive from Summerside where you will find shopping, theatre, restaurants and more. We are under a hours drive from Charlottetown that is always bustling with festivals, unique shops and museums, and fabulous restaurants. A visit to the home of Anne of Green Gables is only a 40 minute drive to the north.

What luck! We wanted a very private, comfortable and restful place and feel extremely fortunate to find this cottage. Everything worked, the cottage was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone with the same type of vacation desire. Just don't take the week I want next year!
