Located just minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake Village, this lakeside hideaway features a deck and balcony with unsurpassed lake and mountain views. Enjoy your morning coffee and take in the splendor. Relax on the dock with your evening refreshments and watch the sunset over Columbine Lake and the Never Summer Mountain Range. The first floor features a cozy living room with queen-size sofa-sleeper, walk-out deck, kitchen and dining area, and bath. The loft has a queen bed, double bed and two twin beds, and a walk-out deck. Rustic timber construction, handmade log staircase, and unique mountain decor. The kitchen is fully furnished and TV with cable is provided.

Tchotchke Moose Peaceful and Relaxing

Tchotchke Moose is a well appointed, comfortable and very clean cabin on a peaceful lake. The upper deck is a lovely feature that gives a great vantage point for viewing the osprey. The local bull moose made an appearance across the lake and lingered for hours!

Downside is the location right next to the public fishing and playground space. This was only a problem one morning when a family decided that 6:30 AM was okay to bring the kids down. On the positive side it was fun to hear the delight when the little guys managed to catch anything - even minnows!

It would be perfect if lake privileges went with the rental. It was a little frustrating to watch all the fishing and canoeing and not be able to participate.

This is a lake that doesn't allow motorized boats so the overall serenity was just what we needed.
