Located in serene Iron Hill Farm, this spacious contemporary Cape offers large rooms, extensive outdoor living space with multiple decks, and proximity to three island towns. The home is centrally located and only minutes from the townships and beautiful beaches of Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and Vineyard Haven. Prospective renters will find attractive gardens and multiple outdoor living spaces. The interior of the home was well-designed with entertaining and children in mind. The large master suite is located on the first floor and has a king-size bed, a full bath, and a private deck. The additional three bedrooms are spacious and comfortably decorated. A bonus sun room on the first floor doubles as a playroom for kids or a bar with a refrigerator and sink for adults.

This house was an unforgettable vacation for two years in a row. It is centrally located to any point on the island and yet once the "grocery run" is done, you can hit the various beaches or towns, and never really get "stuck in traffic". Long Pond is a short ride away, and if you have a little more travel time, the surf at Aquinnah is amazing... Even Chappy is a quick jaunt. Want fresh seafood to prepare for dinner? A ride out to Menemsha, and a snack at the Bite, and you still have plenty of time to marinade the morning's catch before dinner. Simply put, a spacious and very comfortable house - tremendous as a base camp and a regroup and recover spot for delicious and unforgattable family meals!

Peace and quiet, clean and spacious.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved our stay. We had rented the same house for 10 years so we were ready for a change. This house was perfect for our family of 5. With 2 teenage girls and an 11 year old girl having the separate suite for the teens made everybody happy. When we had a problem with the air conditioner the owners had it replaced immediately. It was very clean and in excellent condition. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area is quiet/peaceful yet close to a main road and neighbors very nice. We are already booked to come back for 2 weeks in 2013!!!

A wonderful MV home!

We recently shared this home with another family of four, and it was perfect. There was plenty of room for everybody, and the rooms are arranged so that everyone has some privacy when needed.

The house is clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. It sits on a large lot in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located on the island, with easy access to the bike path.

Joanne is wonderfully accessible and helpful--she really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.

We have rented other homes on Martha's Vineyard and will definitely return to this one.

Great MV rental!

This was our first experience with a vacation rental and it was wonderful! The house and surrounding property are well maintained and there was plenty of space for all of us. Joanne was very accommodating and was able to answer any questions we had before and even during our stay. The house itself is in a great location in the middle of the island on a quiet road.

We enjoyed our stay here very much and would love to return!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The Perfect Home

My sister was recently married on The Vineyard and my husband and I rented this home where 5 other members of my family joined us. This home is perfect, and our experience was wonderful!

As everyone can attest, renting a home and relying soley on photographs can be unsettling. However, Joanne (the owner) immediately put me at ease with her vibrant and helpful personality. Joanne even made it a point to contact us the week before our vacation just to esure that all of our questions had been answered.

When we entered the home for the first time, we were blown away! I must disagree with the last review in that it is our opinion that the photographs actually don't do this home justice. This home is absolutely beautiful! And the vast outdoor space is amazing!! This home is on a private cul de sac with many large and stately homes.

Another plus is that this home is centrally located to almost everything. Joanne even provides a cute but comprehensive guide for those who want a few suggestions of what to do. My sisters and I loved the spa in Vineyard Haven, and my husband and nephew loved the golf courses. Everyone loved the pancakes at Linda Jeans!

We would definitely recommend this home to anyone. In fact, our fear is that when we return next year, the home will be solidly booked.

If I have any advice at all to future renters, it is to be sure to communicate with Joanne regarding what to bring. This home is so well stocked that most of what you were thinking about bringing, will not be necessary.
