This year round Cape Cod house is nestled on 1/2 acre located on a private dirt road, .7 miles to Crooks Brook Beach, 1.5 miles to National Seashore, 5 minutes to Orleans, 2 miles to Coast Guard Beach. Walk to the Donut Shack. A short walk or bike ride to the best bay beaches and bike trail. Great back yard for BBQ's & games. House is situated between Wellfleet and Orleans. This immaculate and recently renovated cottage features 2 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 with 2 twin beds and Bedroom 2 with a queen bed), 1 bath, kitchen with attached eating area, large family room with a queen pull out sofa, large deck with gas grill and new outdoor furniture, outdoor shower, washing machine & dryer. Bocce ball, games, 4 beach chairs, kids beach toys available. We are always adding or updating this house- we spend a lot of time there and treat this house as our year round home.

Beaches and Historic Sites: The house is located .7 miles from Crooks Brook Bay Beach, an easy walk! Eastham has 14 beaches. First Encounter and Campground and of course, Crooks Brook Beach are the closet bay beaches to the house. On the ocean side you have Coast Guard Beach which was rated one of the top ten beaches in the US and Nauset Light Beach. Both are beautiful and are quintessential Cape beaches. Visit the National Seashore for a tour, canoe lessons available and many other programs for adults and kids. Check out their website. Tour the Nauset Light House and Eastham Windmill. HIke Great Island. Wellfleet and Orelans are so close and offer their own set of attractions.

Outdoor activities: Whale watching, visit the seals, an amazing trip! Hiking, biking, beach combing, ocean kayaking. The house is located close to the bike trail.

This cottage was really more of a house. It had everything we needed- even laundry detergent! the location is wonderful- a very quiet road close to all bay beaches and local establishments. We even spent one morning picking wild blueberries (which are everywhere) to enjoy with our morning cereal. The outdoor shower was perfect and got lots of usage! Lots of space for my two boys to play both indoors and out. A great place to stay overall!

Relaxing stay in ideal location

We had an excellent time at the cottage. It's in an ideal location right off Rte 6 and close to Crooks Beach where the sunset was beautiful. The house had everything we needed with a fully equipped kitchen and the owners have thoughtfully provided beach chairs, umbrella & a boogie board for renters to use. Booking process was easy and Rachel, the owner, was very helpful working with me on a problem I had at my end prior to departure. The photographs of the house don't do it justice - it's much warmer and prettier. It was also nice to find a house that was wheelchair accessible with doors and hallways wide enough for to accomodate a chair.

Immediately felt at home. Clean, quiet and inviting. Great place to relax or use as a base for touring the Cape. Quick ride to beaches on both sides conveniently located close to great food and drink. Loved the outdoor shower. Can't wait to go back next year.

When you walk into this beautiful Eastham cottage you immediately feel at home. The furnishings and decor are warm and inviting. The owners have taken great pride in decorating and remodeling and it shows.

The cottage is directly off of Route 6 so you can easily get to local attractions in the surrounding areas, shopping in Orleans, the Wellfleet Flea Market or head straight to PTown. It is also within walking distance to a small beach.

I recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a home away from home atmosphere.
