Accessible only by water, this private classic Winnipesaukee island retreat has 320 ft of lakefront, a small private beach, a large deep-water dock and 1+ acres of property. Bring your boat(s) and/or rent the property’s 13 foot Boston Whaler, and you’re all set to boat, fish, swim, kayak, walk the island's manicured trails, play a game of horse shoes or croquet and relax in the 40 foot long lakeside screened in porch. This Adirondack style home has 4 bedrooms, a small outside bunkhouse with 2 twin beds, 2 baths, a large granite kitchen, two (inside & outside) dining areas, cable and WIFI and a laundry room. Located on Bear Island, it sits directly across (700 feet) from the public dock & parking lot at Cattle landing and is a short boat ride to Meredith and Center Harbor. The house faces directly west and has sun all day long with wide open views to the north and south. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the twice daily passing of the Mount Washington. This property has it all.
