3 Bedrooms - 2 Baths - (Sleeps 6-8)

'ELK CROSSING (Built 2008) This beautiful new vacation cabin is located just 7 miles west of West Yellowstone, MT...the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is set in a meadow bordering Gallatin National Forest. The large back deck is perfect for barbecuing as you bask in the spectacular views of Lionhead's Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide.

Elk Crossing features a 1700 square foot floor plan, and it has an attached two car garage. The vacation home sleeps 6-8 with three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, a third bedroom with two twin beds, and the queen-size sofa sleeper in the Great Room. There are two full baths: master bathroom has a jetted whirlpool tub and a large tiled walk-in shower room with a 12' rain forest shower head, and the second bath has a full shower/tub combination.

The large country kitchen is full equipment with everything you will need. The cabin is comfortable and cozy.

The West Yellowstone area offers fun for the whole family - you can visit the Grizzly Discovery Center, or the Imax Theater featuring special presentations daily. Available during the summer months, the Museum of the Yellowstone and the famous Playmill Theater offer fun filled recreation for kids as well as adults.

'Elk Crossing' is only 10 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park! You can pick a guided tour of Yellowstone National Park or you can experience this natural wonder on your own schedule. There is plenty to do: world class fly-fishing, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, bird and wildlife viewing, boating, water skiing, shopping and sightseeing, just to name a few. West Yellowstone and the surrounding area offer a multitude of dining possibilities.

Winter activities can be enjoyed right out the front door! You can snowmobile from the driveway and connect with trails right down the street, with over 500 miles of groomed trails in the area. There is plenty of space for parking cars or snowmobiles. Other winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice fishing, and are all available close by.

Remember, the entrance to Yellowstone National Park is only 7 miles away! You can choose to go on a snowcoach tour or take a guided snowmobile trip - either way you will love Yellowstone in the winter! (Available from mid-December to the first part of March). Cross country skiing can be enjoyed on the Rendezvous Ski Trails in West Yellowstone, offering over 35 kilometers of winding groomed trails that meander through the Gallatin National Forest. Going North 50 miles to Big Sky, MT, you will find the best of Rocky Mountain downhill skiing.

Felt like our own home near beautiful Yellowstone

This super clean and comfortable vacation rental made us feel right at home while we explored the Yellowstone area.

After spending the day at Yellowstone we returned "home" to cook dinner in a well stocked kitchen. After dinner we played games as a family and watched movies together. To top off the day there is a huge whirlpool tub. The floor plan was perfect for our family. Large great room to gather in and then 3 bedrooms with super comfy beds so we could all get a good nights rest.

If you are looking for a perfect place to rent for your Yellowstone vacation this is it. Our family had an amazing time here. I can't find anything negative to say. This home really made our vacation memorable. Hoping to return!

What a gorgeous property. Beautiful and well crafted woodwork, the bathrooms roomy and modern, the jacuzzi tub delightful and welcome after long days hiking. Huge well- appointed kitchen. Bedrooms spacious and very comfortable. Easy drive to the park - location is perfect.

Great first visit to YNP

The highlight of our stay was hearing the wolves howl two nights in a row! This house was very roomy and comfortable. The location was as described, and an easy drive to YNP. The only disappointment was that the large deck is west-facing, so difficult to take advantage of in the evenings after a day in the park. Our beds were wonderfully comfortable, and we loved sleeping with the windows open. The kitchen was equipped with all the staples we needed, and I would gladly recommend this house to friends.

We had a fabulous time at Yellowstone and your home was beautiful to stay in. We enjoyed cooking family dinners in your well stocked kitchen and watching the sun set from the great view of the back deck.
We saw every animal except a moose, so we have to make another trip out! Thanks for a relaxing vacation, we had a wonderful time!
