Santa Barbara Town home for a 3 night stay

Overall we liked the town home. The furnishings are great. We found the lack of basic kitches spices, like salt and pepper and the other basic spices, made for the cooking in option more of a problem. We also thought if we were being charged $150.00 for cleaning, the place should have been spotless when we arrived. Instead we found sheets and towels in and on the laundry machines and wet, one of the beds was not made, the patio had cigarette butts on the floor. So we were somewhat disappointed with that situation when we arrived. Additionally, on Friday morning at 7:30am we were awakened to a service person with a loud blower on the terrace cleaning the place. He also proceeded with hosing the entire terrace down. Which was quite inconsiderate to say the least. I thought that was really unacceptable and the management agency should make sure that's not occurring while guests are asleep early in the morning. The noise on the street is very loud at night, especially when you need to keep all the windows opened as there is no air conditioning in the unit. We liked being able to walk to State Street, which was about 5 blocks away.
