This sun filled 2 bedroom, 1 bath smoke-free, pet free home is located in the busy, bustling village of Bar Harbor. Screened front porch, living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen are on the first floor with bedrooms and bath on the second floor. Included are TV, DVD player, washer/dryer, garage, one parking space, and wireless internet.

The enclosed outdoor patio just outside the kitchen makes every meal special. On cool mornings, the glass/screened front porch makes brunch a treat. Ideally suited for a family.

Carole completely remodeled her home with new furnishings and new landscaping in 2011. Her hand made pottery dinnerware (Carole Beal Stoneware) is in the kitchen.

Just blocks away and a short walk are the ocean, shore path, town pier, shops, galleries, museums, restaurants, grocers, farmers’ markets, churches, concerts and movies. No need to drive or look for parking all week.

Use the free Island Explorer Bus to visit all of Acadia National Park: carriage roads, hiking trails, sand beaches, walking and biking loops around ponds and beside the ocean. Don’t miss popovers at Jordan Pond House, the view from the top of Cadillac, Sieur de Monts Spring with its Nature Center and Wild Gardens, and Bar Harbor’s 18-hole golf course.

Make a reservation to sail, whale watch, kayak and/or explore the sea bottom aboard Diver Ed’s lobster boat. Take a ferry to Cranberry Island or for a longer trip, Swans Island. The weekly “Beaver Log” gives daily schedules of free events led by Park Rangers. Venture out to explore beavers, tide pools, stars, trails. Take boat trips to explore islands with picnics on the beach. It will be a summer to long remember.

    You will receive confirmation of payment.
    The balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to arrival.

Lovely charming home, close to everything

This is a lovely house in a wonderful location, making it easy to take advantage of all that the island has to offer. It is a nice walk into Bar Harbor for shopping, restaurants, to catch the free bus or for just taking a stroll. It is situated right on main roads so it is simple to get to Acadia for biking, hiking, or a beautiful drive on the park road. The home is cozy and well kept with lots of charm and with everything that you could need. Carole is lovely to deal with and makes the beautiful pottery you'll see in the house. This is a perfect spot for a wonderful vacation.

This house is a great location for a trip to Bar Harbor. It is walking distance to downtown and close to Acadia National Park. It is a perfect size for 2-4 people. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very charming house confortable close to downtown Bar Harbor (5 min by walk to be in the heart of the town). The ownwer take care of everything for the confort of the guest. Also, there is a beautiful garden with table and BBQ. It is a good place to stay!

A lovely home in the perfect location

This home is comfortable, cozy,and has been repainted in warm and relaxing colors throughout. It's hardwood floors in every room give character and charm throughout the home. It is similar to a bed and breakfast set-up, that allows children. It is roomy enough for 4 people, any more than 4 would be cutting it tight. It is in the perfect location. Close enough to walk into town with the family, but avoids the noise from the town. It sits at an intersection that you can follow to any one of your destinations.You can enjoy outdoor privacy on a fenced-in patio on the side of the house, perfect for a BBQ. Morning coffee on the enclosed front porch, watching people walk by was also a treat!
