Pocono mountain cabin on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupak in northeast Pennsylvania, fieldstone gas log fireplace, picture window looks down 7 miles of water. Private dock and rowboat, electric heat and a/c, fully furnished including washer and dryer. Skiing, hiking, and horseback riding nearby. Close to Victorian town of Hawley, PA with restaurants and antique shopping. 'Claws and Paws' zoo in the woods for the kids. Visit our website for more information!

Skiing: Ski resort, Big Bear at Masthope is 25 minutes away. Shawnee, Camelback, Elk Mountain, Montage are an hour away.

Lake Wallenpaupak is the largest lake in Northeast Pennsylvania, 15 miles long and thee miles wide, with power boating, fishing, sailing, water skiing, and swimming. It is surrounded by mountainous terrain, with rural farming areas nearby and small towns with Victorian flavor and antiquing, the arts, festivals, horseback riding, a zoo in the woods for kids, hiking, sightseeing, etc.

We had an awesome weekend! It was very peaceful, relaxing and a beautiful view. Despite the cloudy chilly weather we still enjoyed our stay greatly and wished this home was avail during the summer. Bill and Amy responded very quickly and answered my many questions. I would recommend to anyone who wants a weekend away from it all.

Amazing romatic getaway!

My fiance and I stayed at the cabin for 3 nights in early June. The cabin was perfect in every way and had everything we needed to have a camping experience in nature along with comforts of home. It was so nice to be able to lay on the dock in the warm sun and watch movies in the evening. We quite enjoyed reading in the hammock and even got to feed ducks that visited us a few times. Very quiet and peaceful area. I could sit on the back porch overlooking the lake for hours...and I did! Bill and Amy answered all of our questions and great at communication with us. I have already recommended their lovely cabin to two friends and we also recommend it to anyone looking for a private, romantic getaway on the gorgeous lake! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent guys weekend at the lake

My Dad 60, brother 30, myself 32 and son 2, all spent a spring weekend at this cabin. Nothing but positive experiences and an excellent time. Location is perfect and when you're out back you feel like there's hardly anyone around. Private access to the lake with a great dock and awesome views from the deck. Cabin was clean and felt like home. Owners were fantastic and addressed every need prior to, during, and after our trip. Couldn't ask for a better place for the price. Will be returning for many more visits.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
