Log Cabin outside of Helen,GA with gorgeous mountain view. Four miles outside of town, the cabin is located right next to Unicoi State Park, which features canoeing, fishing, hiking and dining. Cabin has 3BR/2BA and finished basement. Basement has sleeping accomodations for 4-5 as well as a game room with air hockey, foosball, karaoke, movie viewing area,etc. Cabin has all the comfort of home with full kitchen, gas fireplace and satellite TV in 2 rooms. Cabin has high, vaulted pine ceilings with large windows to see the mountains. Large deck with gas grill, picnic table and mountain view! Enjoy Helen's shops, restaurants and shows or take a quick trip to Dahlonega, Hiawassee, Clarkseville, Clayton or Cleveland......all within an hour drive of our cabin. Escape to the mountains and relax!

The Alpine Helen Area is one of Georgia's top 3 tourist attractions. Helen features plenty of antique shops, restaurants, live theater as well as golf, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing and tubing for those on the go. Helen, Sautee and Unicoi Park are all in a 3-4 mile radius and other Georgia towns of Cleveland, Hiawassee, Clarkesville, Dahlonega and Cleveland are within a 30-35 minute drive of Helen. Clayton and Rabun Gap are just one hour away. The Chatahoochee River flows through downtown Helen and provides plenty of trout fishing in the vicinity. The River also provides some white water canoeing/kayaking just outside of Helen. The North Georgia mountains are a great getaway with scenic waterfalls, mountains, streams and lakes.

Golf: Innsbrook golf course is located in downtown Helen and is open to the public. There are other golf courses in the vicinity including the Orchards located in the Clarkesville area, approximately 30 minutes from Helen. Helen also features 2 minature golf courses for children.

Boating and skiing: In addition to Helen's tubing and canoeing/kayakking, our cabin is 14 miles from Lake Burton, a beautiful North GA mountain lake that rents ski boats and pontoon boats.

Restaurants: The Helen area has seen numerous restaurants serve the public with a variety of food styles.
