Great place to stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin. We chose it based on the online description, which we found to be accurate. It was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed for our romantic getaway. We loved the proximity to Pipestem State Park where we enjoyed hours and hours of hiking. It was great to return for a soak in the hot tub, a tasty grill out (courtesy of my husband ~ gotta love him doing all the cooking!), and time to relax around the fire pit.

The two cabins on site are pretty close together, so it would be fun to return with a larger group and rent both of them. During our stay, there was nobody in cabin one until our last night. We enjoyed the privacy!

Always a Pleasure!

This is my fifth year that we have stayed at your cabin. The local Park hosts an EMS, FIRE conference yearly, and we have found that this is the best place for us to stay. No worries about having to keep trying to get reservations at the park when they open up calling times. Every year that we are here, we always give you the dates for the following year, and you are always kind to put us there. Whenever we have had problems at the cabin they have been resolved. The only thing we can ask is additional towels, never seems to be enough. Thank you for you continued kindness. Kelley

Romantic Getaway

What a perfect romantic getaway for us! Super cozy, with a comfortable bed, and just loved the jacuzzi tub. We especially loved the river rock fireplace. It was very clean, decorated impeccably and it had everything we needed. We will think twice before we stay at a hotel for a getaway again when something as nice as this is available to us. One of our favorite things to do was dining at The Oaks Restaurant down the road. We also appreciated that it was close to a ski resort. Hope to try that next time with our family. What a wonderful place! See you again soon!!

cabin in Lerona, WV

Overall, the cabin is in good condition. However, when we were there, the hot tub was broken and the faucet on the jacuzzi tub was broken. Also, be sure to read the fine print - there is no dishwasher in this cabin! Also, the location is not exactly as advertised. It is described as "near Lewisburg" but it is actually another hour drive past Lewisburg (around 59 miles). Also, there are very few restaurants nearby which are open in the winter.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Families with Young Children
