Located on Cane Creek on beautiful Lake Keowee in Oconee county, this rustic, cozy cabin will take you back in time to a peaceful, serene, more quiet place. A place to come and leave the hectic pace of work, carpooling and deadlines. A place of rest to reconnect with loved ones and friends. A place to take deep breaths and long naps. A place of play. Board games, puzzles, cards, books and videos, or just relaxing on the porch swing enjoying the view.In the fall and winter enjoy curling up by the stone fireplace with a good book.

The private deep water dock is available for your boat or you can explore the coves and creeks in our canoe or pedal boat located on the dock for your use. Nearby are Oconee State Park, White Water Falls, Stumphouse Tunnel, and numerous other hiking opportunities abound. Bring your fishing gear. Browse through antique stores in nearby Walhala and check out the weekend auctions at Warther's Originals antique mall.

Seneca is only 12 mi. away. Clemson 19 mi.Walhalla, 6 mi. Restaurants, grocery stores and theater are in these areas. Come rest, relax, and restore. We now offer monthly rates Oct-April.

About The Owner

We are a family of 9 since we now have two daughter in laws and one grandson

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2000
Why The Owner chose West Union

We both grew up around the lake and loved sailing, water skiing and swimming and fishing and wanted our 4 boys to have the fun experience of a simple cabin on the water.

What makes this cabin unique

Very quiet. I love getting up early and sitting on the porch swing with my cup of coffee, mesmerized by the tranquil water. Waiting for the occasional splash as a fish jumps, or the hum of a fishing boat going home after an early morning catch is about as exciting as the morning gets.We all love skiing and swimming and fishing from the dock, grilling out and just relaxing.

What a lovely cabin. We had a great time sitting on the porch using the swing and rocking chairs. We loved having what we called the girl scout room with all the beds in one location. There was so much room and we loved the feel of the log cabin. Would definitely use that location again!

Me and my family had a great bonding experience at the cabin! The kids loved the paddle boat and conoe. The only thing I would have changed is the view from the cabin, maybe cut down a few of those tree's or something so we could see the lake better, but overall it was an awesome experience.
