Truly a home away from home! The cottage, located at 128 Superior St., consists of five bedrooms, two full baths and sleeps 11. The three upstairs bedrooms feature a master room with queen bed, a room with two single beds, and a room with a full bed and twin bunk over it. The two downstairs rooms feature a queen bed and the other a trundle bed (two twin mattresses.) The dining table seats plenty with bench seating and the 42-inch plasma TV in the family room makes TV viewing a pleasure. Enjoy the cottage's screened-in porch where you can watch the comings and goings of everyone on their way to the beach or downtown. The cottage is walking distance to both. One block to beach and two blocks to the riverwalk and downtown. We are about a 3 block walk to the great family park, Kid's Corner. The house is newly remodeled and features all new furniture, mattresses, bedding, and linens. The cottage has cable TV, air conditioning, DVD player, gas grill, and washer/dryer.

South Haven offers so much to do! You can't beat the white sandy beaches. The downtown is filled with fun shops and restaurants. From the downtown and the cottage, you can walk the riverwalk to the South Pier lighthouse. If you are a bike rider, you will love biking on the Kal-Haven trail. For the wine lover, enjoy Southwest Michigan's many wineries. South Haven offers many fun festivals including Harborfest, fireworks and an art fair on Fourth of July, Blueberry Festival, and a great craft fair on Labor Day weekend. Don't forget the Michigan Maritime Museum which is home to the Tall Ship, Friends Good Will. Daily rides available. There are golf courses aplenty, charter fishing trips, carriage rides downtown, and a Farmer's Market every Wed. and Sat. downtown. In cooler weather, enjoy the ice skating rink and a mug of hot chocolate from one of the coffee shops in town. And, of course, don't forget the beautiful sunsets!

Our family had such a wonderful time at the Beach Bungalow. It is a very comfortable vacation home. The short distance to the beach and downtown made it so easy.... I don't think we used a car the entire time we were there. The beach is great, and downtown South Haven is adorable. The Bungalow itself is decorated so cute, and it is so comforable for both adults and children. We would highly recommend this property for a truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

Adorable and Clean Cottage

We had a wonderful experience. The owner has decorated and furnished this cozy home with everything you would need. The linens, glasses, dishes, and decor are adorable. The beds are comfy, the fans are nice, the couches are clean, the paint colors are cute. We love this cottage. The owner provided excellent service, I would recommend to a friend. The beach is very close and nice and South Haven has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Perfect for one large or two families to share.
