Aloha! We are delighted to welcome you to our condo in paradise. Our amazing Fall 2014 special is on now!

Our renovated condo is clean, modern and is a perfect home away from home. We chose this condo for its wonderful, quiet and peaceful location within the Kamaole Sands complex. Not to mention its close proximity to Kamaole Beach III across the street as well as amenities offered in Kihei and Wailea. The complex pool area is just a short (1 minute) walk away.

UPGRADED (May and August 2008): King bed in the bedroom, tile flooring in living room, A/C in the living room AND bedroom.

UPGRADED (March 2009): LCD TV in the bedroom and dining set.

UPGRADED (March 2010): New tile flooring in the bedroom and both bathrooms (tile flooring throughout the condo. (No more carpet!), washer and dryer set.

UPGRADED (May 2012): New ensuite shower

NEW UPGRADES ( Feb. 2014): New Queen sleeper sofa

This second floor unit is bright, airy and open. It is fully equipped with all you need and more for a pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Kamaole Sands was voted by guests as one of the nicest resort properties in Maui.

Your condo was beautiful. Home away from home. We enjoyed the condo and the grounds so much! The pool was so beautiful and we made friends with some of the grounds keepers! Mai Tai night was so much fun. It gave us a chance to meet people from everywhere! The location of you condo was quiet and the deck was tropical and lush. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning and were breathtaken with all the plants, topical birds and gekos. It was nice to walk across the street to the beach which was beautiful! The water was warm and shallow. Thank you again for the use of your condo!

Needs Cleaning

My husband and I just returned from our amazing Maui Vacation and we absolutely loved loved it!!! It was the most wonderful place to relax, explore new places, and meet new people.
Unfortunately though, this condo was not clean at all!! upon arrival, I found MANY hairs on the bathroom counter as if it hadn't been cleaned after the last people that stayed there. I found shreds of toilet paper on the toilet seat as if it had been used and not cleaned. The shower head was broken on one end and looked like it was going to fall. The tile floors looked like they had been mopped with dirty water as there was stains and streaks all over them. The bed sheets and pillowcases had black marks that looked like dirt. The dishes, pans and utensils in the kitchen which were supposedly "clean" had crusty hard stuck on food. The dinning room chairs were completely covered in food and stains, we did not want to even sit on them! We wanted to bake something, but the baking sheet was completely covered in RUST!!! I had to go to safeway and buy cleaning supplies and scrub the place down, which gave us just enough peace of mind to sleep, shower, and eat breakfast there.
If cleanliness is important to you, do not stay at this place or any castle resort condos as they are cleaned by the same staff.
When we emailed the owners about the issue, they advised us to contact housekeeping. But we definitely did NOT trust housekeeping to clean the place again as they did a terrible job cleaning it in the first place, and that is why we cleaned it ourselves.
The location was amazing, kamaole sands beach was our favorite beach in Maui, the condo had beach chairs (but of course they were disgusting) and an umbrella, boogie board and other beach supplies which was good.
We did not let this disappointment get in the way of our vacation, we greatly enjoyed our proximity to the beach and the great adventures we experienced on our trip.
In the end, we will not be returning to this condo and we definitely will not be recommending it to our friends and family.

Thank you Tony for taking the time to post your review. We strive to make a positive experience for our guests. We are sorry that your experience was not pleasant.

Our home in paradise is truly our home away from home and we take great pride in our ownership. As non-resident owners, we appreciate when our guests become our eyes and ears and keep us informed about our home. Cleanliness is a non-negotiable issue and as such, we felt that it was important to make Housekeeping aware of Tony's concerns.

When Tony emailed us about his concerns, we immediately asked him to make Housekeeping aware of it as well. We also contacted Housekeeping immediately in order to have the concerns addressed. The Housekeeping Manager made repeated attempts to access the condo in order to correct any deficiencies, however, was not successful as the guests were not available nor did the guests return calls to Housekeeping.

We have owned our condo for over 5 years and this is the first time we have received a negative comment. We are aware of the many challenges that Housekeeping face with regards to their duties. However, as stated earlier, cleanliness is a must at all times, therefore, we will definitely share this experience with Housekeeping and Castle Resort to make them aware of the unacceptable condition our condo was in.

It should be noted that where a guest has reported a deficiency in a condo, it is only right that the guest allow the deficiency to be corrected. In this case, Housekeeping was not given the opportunity to remedy the situation.

Your home away from home in paradise

The photos did NOT do this property justice! This condo is decorated, updated and stylish. Most of all, it it is comfortable and homey. Bruce and Alina have absolutely everything you could possibly need. There are ample beach towels to use, an amazing assortment of beach toys, chairs, boards, snorkling gear, ice chests and umbrellas. The condo even has games for the family to play~

The proximity to an amazing beach was 4 minutes TOPS from the time you closed the door until you were seated on the beach or in the water. The grounds were well groomed and beautiful! Even walking to the beach was gorgeous. The proximity of the assigned parking space was very convenient!

Alina and Bruce made the rental process painless and provided us with detailed information about the property and surrounding area. The price, needless to say, was AMAZING! We will recommend this property to any and everyone (as long as you aren't going to try to use it when we are planning to come back)!

This was our first trip to Maui and we plan to come back yearly and will definitely stay here!!! Thank you ThThank you Thank you

Perfect getaway in paradise

The owners- Bruce and Alina- were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. The condo itself was picturesque, certainly one of the most beautiful and well kept in Kamaole Sands. We stayed for 8 days, greatly enjoying the additinal privacy afforded us by the more secluded location of building 8. A quick walk through the scenic grounds at Kamole Sands takes you to the private swimming facilities where we met many other couples from all over Canada and the United States. Everyone was very friendly and we paticularly enjoyed the mai-tai party which takes place every wednesday at the swimming facilities. A short 2 min walk takes you to the ocean, with warm calm beaches just in front of the condo complex. Already provided in the condo for us were many items useful for beach excursions, including coolers, additional towels, frisbee and other items you woud likely want with you on the beach but not want to pack along in your luggage. The condo interior was modern and luxurious, with easily cleaned tile floors and all granite counter tops. Appliances were all new and clean, everything worked just as it should. Within a couple of days of staying we could easily imagine ourselves never leaving, findng the condo comfortable and homey. All in all the best vacation in Hawaii we have had yet, thanks largely to Bruce and Alina. We have recommended this condo to all our friends and family expressing interest in a Hawaiian vacation. Looking forward to our next stay. Mahola Bruce and Alina!

Our stay in this condo was Jan 15-27 2010. We were very pleased with the location which was close to the ocean and lots of ammenities. The condo was very clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils as well as towels. The bed was very comfortable and the deck was private surrounded by lush greenery. We definitely recommend this condo rental and will return to this condo again in the future.

Me and my wife were there (late Sept 08) for a week for our wedding in Maui. The owner was very prompt on replying my e-mails. Very very nice to work with. The condo itself and the whole property was very maintain. Check-in check-out was a breeze. The goodies (beach chairs, cooler, etc) were big plus! We use them everyday. We loved the BBQ area. One small thing is the ants in kitchen and bathroom sinks. Our guests one floor above did not have ant problem.

But all in all, it was great and I will nevery stay in a hotel again if I go to Maui. Thank you for making our wedding speical.

The best way to maintain an ant-free environment is ensure all "sweet" foods are stored and disposed of properly. In this case, action has been taken to correct the situation.
