Absolutely fantastic

On the flight back to Boston, we challenged each other to name one thing that could have been better about our trip to Marco Island and our stay at this rental home. Neither of us could come up with a single thing. It was perfect. The photos and description on the site are completely accurate, and if anything, the home is even better than advertised. Spotless, plenty of space, great amenities such as pool, hot tub, dock (where we caught plenty of fish every evening), and within a 5 minute drive of a gorgeous beach (South Marco Beach). The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, and answered all of our questions. Marco Island itself was beautiful - the beach was pristine, with unbelievable shells, and warm turquoise water. Not crowded either, though we were there the first week of June (start of off-season). Marco may not be as high-end as Naples, but is gorgeous and we really loved the more laid back feel - and Naples is maybe a 20-25 minute drive if you are looking for high end shops, etc. But Marco had plenty to occupy us between the beach, renting a boat for the day at Marco Marina, great food at Verdi's and Almost Famous Mel's, and the friendliness of places like Paradise Seafood, Snook Inn, Little Bar, and Joe's at the marina. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!
