Open floor plan, full of natural light with central fireplace offers living, dining, and kitchen with expanded outdoor living space on deck with expansive view of antique farm. Very Vineyard decor mixing classic and comfort. Upstairs two bedrooms; one queen, one double with expansive bath and modern amenities; tiled shower as well as antique claw foot tub. Sky lights galore. Additional sleeping quarters in lower level offer more views of garden.

This property, located on the northern side of West Tisbury, is a stone's throw to one of the village's business districts,with grocery store, sandwich shop, banks, post office, and pharmacy. It is less than a quarter mile to the bus route, which accommodates the entire island. Being an agricultural community, West Tisbury offers farm stands, Polly Hill Arboretum, agricultural fairs, antiquing, galleries, artisans fairs, nature preserves, bike paths, ancient ways, and, of course, beautiful beaches. What makes this vacation home unique is it's location. Sitting on a hillside overlooking pastures and forest, it is totally private but centrally located on beautiful Martha's Vineyard.

Sitting on the deck, you can look over the fields and mature forest and relax with a good book and glass of wine. Or jump on your bike and follow the bicycle paths or 'ancient way', exploring nearby markets and galleries. You can also hop on the Martha's Vineyard bus (or your own car, of course) and stroll along some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Vintage Vineyard!: With a backdrop of the woods...this cottage style house is filled with natural light, with it's south facing exposure. The living room opens to eating area and kitchen and is furnished in classic Vineyard style, combining classic and whimsical. French doors open to the elevated deck overlooking the perennial gardens and yard. Additional sleeping space on lower level with easy access to outside shower, another Vineyard tradition.

Don't compromise your comfort: Relax on the deck or come inside and catch a Sox game on the 27 inch TV w/ satellite networking or listen to your favorite CD on Bose player. There's nothing like having a nice long float in the antique claw foot tub with stars shining through the skylight after a hard day at the beach.
