The house and pool:
The 8 m x 4m private pool, 0.90m-1.60m in depth, is entered by four steps and is surrounded by a tiled terrace with sun beds. The pool has a cover to be used for security and a handy outdoor solar shower, also cabana with WC and hand washbasin. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture for al fresco dining either by the pool or in the welcome shade from the hot summer sun on the big covered terrace, which also houses the built-in barbecue.
Along a corridor off the entrance foyer are a twin bedded room with big built in wardrobe, a double bedroom with built in wardrobe and glass sliding door leading to the terrace, a deluxe fully tiled shower room and separate WC. At the end of the corridor is the delightfully decorated large master bedroom suite with double bed, big walk-in wardrobe and en suite full bathroom in luxurious marble with bath, WC, hand washbasin, bidet. Glass sliding doors lead to the bedroom’s own big terrace.

An arch leads from the foyer to the large open plan dining area through to the sitting area, 21 sq m living space in total. Elegantly and comfortably furnished with sofas, rugs, lamps, prints, etc., the principal colours are the warm saffron and burgundy of the south of France. Some antique pieces of furniture add to the Provençal ambience.
For your entertainment there are two TV’s (one with Satellite for UK channels in the sitting room, one in the kitchen), a DVD and CD player. Glass sliding doors open to the terrace and pool from both the living area and the kitchen.
The state of the art, extremely well equipped eat-in kitchen has brushed stainless steel appliances, granite work benches, a full sized American fridge/freezer, microwave, electric jug, coffee machine, toaster. The wall oven and dishwasher and are placed at convenient heights off the ground.
The big utilities room has washing machine, laundry tub, iron, ironing board, storage and door to the garage.
The area:
Bustling market towns with restaurants, supermarkets and street markets are close by, including historic Pezenas with its many antique shops. Concerts and festivals are held in surrounding villages and towns throughout the year. The many local historical sites to visit, excellent walking in the nearby hills and numerous wine tasting opportunities in this, France's most exciting, up and coming wine region, make a great mix for your holiday. An hour's drive takes you to splendid Roman towns such as Avignon, Nîmes, Arles. For a touch of true French sophistication, Montpellier (45 mins) offers the arts, theatre, shopping, an international airport and train station.
