Girl's Weekend Away, '09

Every year a dozen women go away for a weekend to unwind and get away from it all. We absolutely loved this house! It was so clean, comfortable and inviting to us. Completely equipped with anything we may need... which is quite a feat, if you think of 10 or so women in a kitchen cooking! More than enough room, so we never felt crowded. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. Truly a class act, and a wonderful home to have had the pleasure of staying at.

Beautiful place to stay even in the cold

We stayed at this house for three nights. It has an attic for the kids to play in. They had a huge bag of dress up clothes, a ping pong table, a mini barn with ponies, and several other kid friendly toys. The rooms were large and the view was very pretty even when it was only 20 degrees outside. The kithen was equipped with tools for anything you might make. It was a very nice trip. My daughter keeps asking when we will go back to "Weeconsin"?

Family-friendly Home

We had the pleasure of staying in this home last week. We have been vacationing together for the past 8 years, and this was one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. They have gone the extra mile in providing a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with televisions, internet access, etc. The owners were friendly and eager to make sure that we had a great time. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to shopping, movies, and anything else we needed.
The only drawback for us was that we were expecting a sandy swimming beach. There is swimming off of the dock, but not the swimming area we are used to.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children

Relaxing, Inviting, Spacious

My family expected to spend a weekend "on the lake", but it found out it was so much more. This home with its new appliances and awesome view was so much more than we expected. It was comfortable from the moment we arrived. After a six (6) hour drive we were pleased to find the home extremely clean and a gift basket waiting for us in the kitchen. The smores were ready for the campfire next to the lake...awesome lake with terrific view. With the waves lashing on the shore the sleeping was sound right from the first night. When my children raced through the house to find suitable bedroom my youngest came downstairs and exclaimed "it has two (2) upstairsies". This is a spacious place. If one wants to get away or congragate this is the spot. Anyway...great weekend. Thank you to the host and hostess for making our weekend in Wisconsin very comfortable and inviting.
