Beautifully restored home built in the early 1900's. We completed our renovations in spring of 2008 and opened our home to vacationing families for the first time in July 2008. Enjoy the feeling of a classic Maine summer with the modern convenience of all the amenities that you enjoy.

Steps from the historic Ocean Park Temple, short walk from 7 miles of sandy beaches. Enjoy summer evenings at the Old Orchard Beach Pier and Amusement Park, or take a short drive (5 minutes!) to FunTown Amusement & Water Park.

Great Cottage in Ocean Park!

Our family stayed here in the summer of 2012. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 adolescents and one toddler. We were fairly comfortable in this cottage and it is very nicely decorated! The location is convenient to Saco, Ocean Park, and Old Orchard Beach and there is enough parking for up to 4 small cars or two vans. The yard is huge and private which is great for the kids to play. Definitely some mosquitoes due to the woods, so we had to invest in some bug spray (the beach in OP at night is also suffering from a flying insect issue). The house has wi-fi, cable TV, DVDs, beautiful furniture, bedspreads and pillows, and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped for all kinds of cooking. The washer and dryer were a godsend!! My only complaints were the inability to keep my toddler safe because the stairways do not accommodate a safety gate and there was no high chair provided as stated in the description. Also, an additional shower and an air conditioner would be very helpful to the overall livability of the home, especially during the hot month of July. Even just a portable air conditioner for the upstairs bedrooms would be helpful. My mother had trouble with being overheated after walking back from the beach, and waiting for the shower in the very warm house, this became a problem for her. Overall, we were able to have a nice vacation at this cottage in 2012 and I would recommend this home and it's owners to anyone interested!

Three generations under one roof for a Week in ME

We knew this was either going to be a really good idea or not so much. Renting a big house and inviting three generations of family, parents, brothers, sisters, cousins and close friends for a whole week together. What if it rains?? Well it did half the time and my family had a great vacation at this house. Not super close to the beach but definately within walking distance. Kids loved the the ice cream parlor and we loved the small town feel. Nice to be away from the noise of OOB. The house was great for any kind of weather, big and beautifully decorated. We were at full capacity all week and no one ever felt crowded, plenty of space and TVs/games to scatter about on a rainy day. The kitchen and dinning room were great for cooking huge breakfasts. The house had 99% of everything needed (all the little things you bring "just in case", were already there). While there, we rented fishing poles at Camp Ellis, (right down the road) and fished. Kids loved swimming at the sand bar. We did the OOB thing. Thursday night fireworks, Funtown/splashtown, batting cages and mini golf. Kennebunk Port shopping trip and dinner at Peir 77 rest. in Cape Porpoise (worth the drive) Lots of fires, cookouts & smores in the back yard. Singalongs and dancing = Blender got alot of use. Big yard for wiffle ball games, Bogie boarding, shell collecting, morning runs on the beach and afternoon naps on super comfy beds. Happy hour on the beach (shhhh) The best part: We didn't have to kennel our pug, Diggy, he loved the beach too. We should have rented for two weeks!!

Had a great vacation here!

I would certainly rent from Sue and Steve again. They were great people and kept their home very clean. Sue is a fantastic decorator - I loved this house.

They allowed up to bring our dog - which was fantastic, because we couldn't find any other rental that would allow this.

Their home was great for the kids, too. There are games and a big back yard...plus it's within walking distance to the park and the beach...not to mention just a 5 minute drive to the movie theater and Funtown Amusement Park.

I hear that they will continue to improve and renovate this house...which was built in the early 1900's. There's lots of space for multiple guests and I loved the patio and grill in the backyard! Can't wait to see the house next season :)

Great Vacation!!

I had a great week in this house! It is beautifully decorated and kept extremely clean. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful (they live in OOB year round).

The owners were easily accesible and took great pride in their gorgeous house. This house is right in the center of town, allowing us to enjoy the beach as well as the small town aspect of Old Orchard.

The best part was the house - it is a very old house, but they spent the last two years renovating it. Very cool!

One thing I would request is another bathroom, there is only one full bath and it was hard with so many people renting. However, they mentioned putting in a second full bathroom in time for the next season.

Would definitely rent from them again!!!
