My partner and I had the pleasure of renting the Martin's beautiful Sandridge Avenue house during this past Sundance Film Festival. Following a year's total renovation and extensive build out, this property belongs among the top in vacation rentals available in major recreation areas such as Park City. Sitting atop Main Street, the views encompass the bustling activity of this charming western town combined with an awesome mountain backdrop. The house is large and well appointed. The kitchen and living areas are new and beautiful. The interior space is an eclectic mix of wood and iron reminiscent of the mining heritage that was Park City. Modern amenities abound but are well incorporated in the western aesthetic. Beds are large and comfortable, the bathrooms large yet cozy. Public transportation is readily accessible and highly recommended - particularly at Festival time. Restaurants and shopping abound and of course, Utah snow is indisputably, the best in the world. Thoroughly enjoyable!
When we first visited Park City in 2007 we fell in love with the town’s historic charm and incredible skiing. From our front door it is just one block to the trolley which takes you to the town lift. Which, 'at the base of a 3100 ft vertical drop, you'll find an extraordinary place to land' makes for an appropriate town slogan! Furthermore, there are the year round cultural events, such as Artstravaganza in August and the renowned Sundance Film Festival in January. These events bring a wide selection of international travelers to Park City, which creates a cosmopolitan vibe not often found in small towns. In addition to the cultural events there are activities for each season like horseback riding, mountain biking, golf, ice skating, cross-country skiing, and there are hot springs and great hikes year round. Park City just has so much to offer; I often find myself wondering what am I not going to do today?
