The O-Lake Lodge is a beautiful “getaway” lake house 2hrs from downtown Chicago and 20 minutes from Milwaukee. There's 2 great restaurants and a cute tavern within 1/2 mile- an easy walk. WE have a PONTOON available for rent! Broadband WiFi Internet available. All sport Okauchee is one of the most exclusive lakes in Wisconsin, excellent for boating and some of the best fishing in WI. You and the kids can fish from 2 private piers on 75ft of frontage. Sunset views abound on this quiet corner of the lake. There's a portable firepit down by the lake. Cruise the large (1100 acre), crystal clear lake w/ 30 mi of shoreline. Boat-up dining at 5+ great restaurants. Check out several natural islands- or tie up your boat at 'party island' and swim. Home features: large windows, updated kitchen w/ dining area, dishwasher, two baths with showers, and a roomy deck. Grill provided. Wood burning fireplace. There is a big sleeping loft with 4 double beds. House has central A/C & Cable TV.

This sounds great! What else should I know?: The house is on a beautiful, quiet bay that is open to the main lake. Due to a soft bottom, swimming off of the pier is not advised. We always swim on the main lake and near Party Island. The house is built on a bluff and has three levels- so if you, or your guests are adverse to climbing some stairs, this is not the house for you. The pictures are very representative of the house.

What about the fishing and outdoor activities?: You should also know that Okauchee Lake is one of the only lakes in Southern Wisconsin where you can catch a Muskie- the king of all sport fish. Fish species include: Musky, Northern Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill. There are guides, with boats, available for hire. Spend a night stargazing and build a fire in the portable fire pit. Spend your vacation at this outstanding Wisconsin property!!!

We rented this house for a weekend to get away from our busy life. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the lake and loved how peaceful and quiet it was.The house was very clean and taken care of. We had everything we needed and if we had to run out for food the stores were just a few minutes away. We didn't go out much in the area to restaurants or such but we will next time. Definitely will return asap. Thanks for a great mini-vacation!!

We loved the house! It was a great place for our friends to reunite & spend a peaceful weekend. I would definitely recommend getting the pontoon boat with the rental; it's a fun ride!
The pub down the road is also a nice touch.

We have nothing but great things to say!
