Vilamoura Vacation Rental villa: Casa Katrina

A fantastic villa furnished to a high standard. Ideal for families young and old as it is very safe and secure with a large sized pool. We found the Villa to be extremely welcoming and homely and we felt at ease here instantly. Down stairs there is a small spare bedroom/study which our two year old trotted off to straight away to be welcomed by lots of children’s videos and a selection of toys which kept him amused all holiday. The kitchen has everything you need and caters for all your cooking needs during your stay. The Garden and pool area are very picturesque which made us feel relaxed at outset. The local shops were a five minute walk and the Marina is a 20 minute walk. The welcome pack is very informative and gives directions to places in the area. We found the owner, Dave, to be extremely helpful prior to our visit and was very prompt in answering any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were impressed by the quality of the villa and pool. We would recommended this Villa to anyone wishing to escape to the sun. We will definitely be returning to the villa in the future.

This is a lovely villa,in a cul de sac within walking distance of Vilamoura Marina.It is very well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very good.There is an excellent swimming pool of a decent size.It is as described in the literature and the owner went out of his way to guide us to the property where the Manager met us and was very helpful.There are many good restaurants at the Marina and the owner's info.book was very helpful.With a car it is easy to get to Faro and the Airport.Albufeira which is very lively is also easy to reach but not easy to get out of !! We would happily recommend this villa and look forward to another visit. Lionel

"Casa Katrina was nothing short of stunning! It was in a lovely quiet residential area about 25 minutes walk from the Marina and all the shops, restaurants, and activities. The villa is spacious and ensures enough privacy as each bedroom has an ensuite. We were met by the villa manager who had bought in some essentials such as bread, tea, coffee, sugar and even a bottle of wine. He also gave us his telephone number should we have needed to contact him. The pool was the largest we saw in the area. It was cleaned for us mid week (not that it needed it) with no disruption to us at all. The villa is extremely well equipped and by way of constructive criticism, the only thing I would have liked (and this is purely a woman thing) was a mirror near a plug point to style my hair. Other than that, it was PERFECT. It was the best holiday we have ever had and we are a well travelled family having spent ten years in Asia. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Casa Katrina to my friends. We will certainly be returning. The owner, Dave, couldnt have been more helpful throughout the booking process and ensured every detail was covered. I would like to thank you Dave for sharing your villa with us.
