Moosemac is a luxury western style mountain-top cabin in the North Georgia Mountains overlooking a spectacular panoramic mountain view!

There are 3 bedrooms, 2½ baths. The main living area is an open floor plan with wall to wall view windows soaring to a peak of 28 feet. The 4-person Jacuzzi hot tub is perfectly nestled in a private covered porch open to the view, the moon & the stars.

Moosemac is located less than 2 hours north of Atlanta in Morganton, GA, only 15 minutes from Lake Blue Ridge, Lake Nottely, the Toccoa River, Aska Adventure Area and the charming, historic town of Blue Ridge.

    - Holiday rates: $225 per night -

The weather over the New Years holiday could not have been worse, cold, fog and rain. However, Moosemac is a beautiful cabin and even though the outdoor activities were limited our group had a WONDERFUL few days.
Thanks for all the firewood the cooking supplies and all the welcome goodies. We highly recommend Moosemac to anyone wanting an really nice place with owners who care.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Majestic Moosemac!

Moosemac was very well appointed, immaculate in detail and comfortable beyond belief. My husband and I enjoyed lots of relaxation on the scenic deck, as well as in the hot tub. The view was fantastic! The cabin interior was so inviting, and we loved the western flare. A big plus for me was the WIFI. Great signal, and I was able to do Skype with family. They sure were envious, when I took them on a little tour of the cabin. We appreciated the recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Both Cucina Rustica and Angelina's were excellent! We were glad that we made the trip to see the beautiful Amicalola Falls.
Thank you to our gracious hosts for sharing such a stunning cabin. We hated to leave, but hope to return.

We were overwhelmingly pleased with our stay at Moosemac! I tired to submit a review on your web listing, but I am not certain that it went though???

You should know that we were very appreciative for the tasteful furnishings in the cabin, along with the fully equipped kitchen and the obvious attenton to cleanliness! Thanks!

We hope to return to Moosemac sometime in the future so that we can continue to explore this area. It is comforting for us to know that we would have a lovely cabin to stay in when we return to this part of the state!

A Little Slice of Heaven

We recently stayed at Moosemac and enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin was extremely clean and well cared for, with views just like a dream. We really enjoyed waking up every morning in the loft bedroom and gazing out through the wall of windows at the breathtaking mountain views. We ate many meals out on the deck so we could soak up every bit of peace and tranquility around us. If you are looking for a clean, beautiful, extremely relaxing place to vacation then Moosemac is for you.

Awesome Getaway!

I really enjoyed this place. The owners were wonderful to work with, and I really got the impression they wanted our stay to be happy.

The cabin is nicely decorated in a western, rustic theme. It includes a wonderful view. The stars are amazing to look at on one of the three deck areas. I was blown away by seeing the hawks and eagles at eye level.

The view from the Master Loft is one you will want to wake up with each day for the rest of your life. While the Master Bath is efficient, the outside, private hot tub is truly impressive!

I can't say enough positive about this experience.
