This lovely three-story home features a huge waterfront balcony with a walk-around deck and it has an extra large kitchen. The great view of the Homosassa River can be seen from almost every room. There is abundant wildlife at the dock (including manatee, dolphins and wading birds). Fishing would be for fresh or saltwater fish right at the dock. It is a six-mile boat ride on the beautiful Homosassa River to the gulf. There you may catch fish including Cobia, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Grouper and others. Scallop season opens July 1st and is a favorite sport in the area. A short boat trip to the freshwater springs with sandy bottom makes for an enjoyable afternoon. Several restaurants nearby are accessible by water.

This was one of the most relaxing vacations I have taken in a long, long time. I have never stayed on a river before and I was so pleasantly surprised by the therapy it bestows. The weather was perfect. The gorgeous home is perfectly furnished and immaculate. Every detail was addressed. The grounds were impeccable. The owners were delightful, so helpful and full of information. From watching the manatees to superb dining along the Crystal River made the time fly by much too quickly. You must experience Margarita Grill. It honors the USA and our troups every single day. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation.

The home perfectly fits the description, plus more! The entire property is absolutely beautiful. It is immaculately clean and perfectly maintained in every detail. The casual atmosphere is very relaxing and bright, with a cheery decor. The owners and onsight personnel are excellent hosts and advisors. We found them to be entirely honest and extremely trustworthy in our transaction. Their helpfulness goes far beyond the normal expectations one would have.

There are a number of restaurants with really good food at very reasonable prices. Many can be reached by car or boat. In Homosassa we loved to go by water (or car) to Margueritagrill, Seagrass Pub & Grill, Yardarm Rstnt./Monkey Bar (at Riverside Resort), and The Freezer. By water, all are within a mile of the property. By car only we liked Luigi's and Kim's. In Crystal River (7 mi. north) we enjoyed Mr. King's (Chinese), Cody's Roadhouse, and The Boathouse Rstnt.

I would highly recommend his property to friends and family for their vacations and getaways. This home is perfect for those who enjoy any and all water sports. The choices are vast...great sightseeing, nearby major Florida attractions, beaches, excellent restaurants, and a friendly helpful community.

The Homosassa State Wildlife Park is an exceptional nature sanctuary for injured manatees being nurtured back to health for release back into the wild. Numerous native Florida animal species can be found in the park, which was one of our favorite local attractions. We were thrilled to get to see the manatees in the "Blue Waters" of the Homosassa River, near it's natural freshwater spring origin. A trip from the "Blue Waters" to the Gulf of Mexico on this river is one of the most beautiful boat rides in all of Florida.

This vacation property is like finding a pot of gold! We will definitely stay here again many times! I know your friends and family will love it, too.
