We just finished a complete renovation. Custom leather sofa and MUCH MUCH MORE.

On Blue Flag Beach, villa is perfect for romantic getaways, child-friendly summer holiday fun in Narbonne Plage or artist retreat.Unattached furnished home, uniquely situated. Seven paces from front door place you on the nicest fine sand beach on the Mediterranean coast of France. Romantic, unrestricted views of the blue Mediterranean.The beach in front of the house has lifeguards on duty during the summer holiday season, with a gently sloping, rock-free bottom-contour. Internet wireless ADSL, UK satellite TV, Big screen TV. Activities are available for all interests: sailing, fishing, sail boarding , amusement parks, biking, safari park,romantic Roman ruins, vineyard tours, golfing, artist studios, and many, many more. Villa fully equipped for comfortable year round living. The house is nicely furnished and has all of the essentials, including a new clothes washer and dryer, gas cook top and oven, dishwasher, microwave.

Activities: Golf-

The Narbonne area is blessed with at least 5 fine golf courses, some of international standing.

The Golf de Fontcaude is a countryside course “with gentle slopes, well wooded and with several holes along a riverside.” Its international course designed by Chris Pitmann in 1991 is 18 holes, par 72 and 6,881 yds. long.

La Grande Motte has 2 18 hole courses and one 8 hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1997. Located south of Montpellier by the sea, this beautifully set course includes a challenging 6,780 par 72.

Saint Thomas is a “delightful, young, but well established course” with beautiful views and a challenging combination of groomed and natural greens, open and wooded landscape. It was designed by Patrice Lambert, is 6,704 yds long par 72.

This lovely house on the sea is ideally situated half way (about 1 1/2 hrs.) between Avigion and the Spanish border, 15 minutes east of N9 and is available by bus from Narbonne. The Pyrenees lay to the south of the house and make a pleasant backdrop from the solarium for the evening sunset.

The general area is 'what might well be France’s oldest wine region. In fact, the Languedoc-Roussillon is probably the first area in France where the Romans introduced viticulture', with the local vineyards, le Clap, producing arguably the finest.

In Cathar country, Narbonne, the town, first came of note during its service as the Roman provincial capital. Its turn of the millennium (Y1K) cathedral is famous for its flying buttresses.

Other Activities: Pyranees 1/2 hour drive away. Great artists' retreat.

Full length Conservatory/Solarium on ground floor. BBQ. Private Off-Street Parking. Communal pool about 2 K. 2 adult bikes in excellent condition provided. Dining and shopping are within an easy walk. No hills to trudge up or down. The linen provided (bed linen, bath towels, face cloths, beach towels) All bath towels and bed linen are of the highest quality. For those in a wheelchair, there is only a 1/2 step on the south side of the house. Two of the bedrooms are available at this level. Prices subject to change.

3rd visit. This time with grand daughter (18 months) a delightful experience, newly renovated house excellent.well maintained- outside space much improved-cleaning service excellent. Would recommend to anyone as long as they avoid my dates. Returning again this year.location outstanding- wonderful for family beach holiday.

excellent position- ideal location-relaxing at quieter end of Narbonne Plage. Difficult access off-set by traffic free location. Swarms of cyclists and joggers are just an insignificant distraction. Will return!

If the weather is good to you, then Narbonne Plage is a perfect location for a family beach holiday with deserted beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. The one thing everyone should understand about the area is that it is windy on nearly everyday and sometimes extremely windy! You shouldn't be put off by this, as no wind, high temperatures and little cover we make it unbearable.
The villa itself is extremely well maintained and would suit a family of 4, where you can just fling the doors open in the morning and walk across the promenade straight on to the beach. In the evening you can easily eat alfresco and watch the world go by without feeling overlooked. The prom is busy, but not intrusively as it is only used by walkers and cyclists. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance to suit all tastes, and if you have transport many vineyards waiting to sell you their wears. Enjoy!
