This family owned home/cottage is located on the southwest end of this 20+ mile long very clear picturesque Lake Leelanau. The sunrises are spectacular! The cottage has a private dock located within 50 feet of the water's edge. Lake Leelanau is an all sports lake for boating, water skiing, with great fishing for walleye and bass. Sandy bottom, shallow shore line with great swimming for kids. You can take your boat for excellent dining, sight-seeing or shopping. There is a fire pit just a few yards from the lake. A kayak is available for your enjoyment. Sand box for youngsters. The waterfront cottage is just a short drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Golf Courses, Wineries, Casinos or several local quaint Villages or Traverse City. Laptop computer provided with high speed internet access and wireless available. Year round get-away for family vacation, color tour, skiers, hunting, snowmobilers, fishermen, golf, shoppers, and gamblers. Pontoon boat rental available on-site.

The cottage/home is located in Leelanau County about 2 miles northeast of Cedar and about 9 miles south of the Town of Lake Leelanau. Many summer festivals are held throughout the County with the nationally known Cherry Festival held in July in nearby Traverse City. The county has many amenities, a variety of restaurants, the Sleeping Bear National Park, numerous lakes and wonderful colors year-round - but especially in the fall.

We have had a tremendous time at this property for the past three years. The cottage is very clean and well equipped. We love going to Northern Michigan in the fall. Larry and Jackie are very accommodating and always call upon arrival to make sure that everything is okey. It is very definitely a part of our future travel plans! Thank You!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very clean and everything was there that you would need. We also enjoyed renting the boat. It was great to be able to be on the lake everyday. Larry was very generous and made sure our son was able to play his video games. Thanks for a great week!

We really enjoyed our stay in Larry and Jackie's house. It was very clean and well equipped and the lake was great for swimming. The location is very convienent and is only 20 minutes from Traverse City, Sutton's Bay, Leland, etc.

Larry and Jackie's cottage on Lake Leelanau is a perfect vacation spot. The cottage is immaculate and very well-equipped, and the open living/dining/kitchen works great for casual vacation living. We spent lots of time reading and playing with our son in the yard. An idyllic lakeside location.
