BEAUTIFUL LOG CABIN *MOUNTAIN VIEWS* *HOT TUB*

Thank you so much for a great stay. This property had just about everything we needed. The pictures are accurate. The home is beautiful! We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after long days of riding our motorcycles on the beautiful mountain roads. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Just one small warning for other bikers, the driveway can be a bit tricky, but we made out fine with it....one other thing that was very impressive, we received our deposit back in 4 business days!! Wow!!

If privacy is your idea of a great get-a-way, this is your place. Quiet and secluded. Photos of this property are 100% correct. No cropping to hide or disguise undesirable traits. New and clean. We stayed in the spring but I think the really great time to be at this property would be the fall. The colors would be spectacular. My only critiques: NEEDS WI-FI. To far back in the mountains to receive cell service and no internet. It is a 20 minute drive down the mountain to the gate and another 15 minutes into town where there is free WI-Fi at several places. However, this is not desirable when you are trying to make reservations or research activities. The cost of this property is so reasonable that I think no one would mind paying $25 or $50 more a week to have internet service. I also recommend that you arrive at the property for the first time during daylight. The road in is winding, narrow and not as clearly marked as one would hope. A GPS with the proper coordinates made the drive much safer. I would not recommend this property in winter without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The other secret is the nearby little town of Black Mountain. Closer than Asheville, friendlier and much more reasonably priced. Also, since the property is so remote, I would have liked to see a more expansive cooking utensil and pan situation since it is so pleasant just to stay on the property. Ingles is a wonderful store to provide all your provisions. It is in Black Mountain.

The cabin was everything that was advertised. The hot tub was great, the weather was cool, and after the dash to the hot tub, it was heaven. The fireplace inside was great too. The home is literally on the mountain as advertised, and once i went up the mountain road i didn't find it too intimidating. I never tried it after dark though. It was close enough to activities, and far enough on it's own to be really refreshing. Great place for a great price.
