Vacation Rental Description Sandcastle Resort Rests on 1/2 Acre and has 100 ft of Private Sandy Beach. Located only 2 hours from Chicago, Little Crooked Lake is over 100 acres and an all sports lake. The 2 story house is capable of sleeping up to 20 people and is Pet Friendly! The house is fully stocked with board games, puzzles, books, and water/sand toys. Also includes 2 TV's, VCR and DVD player! Activities and Attractions - Enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock or just laying under the sun on the floating raft. Marina is close by and offers boat and jet ski rentals. Within walking distance is an ice cream parlor 'Driftwood' and within a short distance is a bowling alley, drive-in movie theater, skating rink, apple orchards, restaurants, and farm stands. In addition, you are only a 20 minute drive to Lake Michigan in Benton Harbor/St. Joe's.

We arrived on time at Sandcastle to the awaiting arms of our hosts, the owners. They greeted us warmly & gave us a friendly guide of the property to show us where everything was & how everything worked. The description on the web was perfect. Everything was clean & being the first guests of the seasons, the Lake house smelled fresh & was well maintened. Most of all, the beds were so comfortable & I slept in a bunk bed (for my back). We would recommend this Resort to family & friends & will return here again. We were visiting Pre-Memorial Day, but still had fun Roller Skating & Bowling within a mile of the Resort house. There were quite a few restaurants & stores nearby that we frequented daily. Our two little girls (dogs) enjoyed sitting by the edge of the lake watching the Swans & boats. Our family & friends were very pleased with the Sandcastle, lake, & area & our Family Reunion was a BIG success. Thanks alot !!
