Our Cabin is situated in an area called Zion Ridge that backs up to Zion National Park. Although we are tucked away amongst the Ponderosa Pines outside Zion, we are very close to several other great areas of interest: Brian Head Ski Resort (73 miles), Bryce Canyon N.P. (75 miles), Cedar Breaks N.P. (62 miles), Lake Powel (91 miles), Navajo Lake (51 miles), & Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park (25 miles). If you are not interested in taking a short drive to these areas, you can take a short walk (300 yards) to an adjacent small mountain resort with many activities such as: ATV riding, horseback riding, shooting, paintballing, archery, zip line, a rock climbing wall, basketball/tennis court, horseshoes, and many other activities for adults and kids alike. Don't be fooled, these activities are great fun, but it is sometimes more fun to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Motorcyling: If you are into riding motorcycles, we have access to 10,000 acres of private mountain terrain nearby for riding. Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is about 25 miles toward Kanab if you like riding in the sand.

Waterskiing and Watersports: The legendary Lake Powell is only 91 miles from our cabin. Lake Powell is in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Breathtaking landscape extended into both Arizona and Utah with nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline and 150 miles long. The 400 foot deep lake surrounds you with spectacular rock canyons towers. It embraces you with rosy sand beaches and and millions of shimmering stars at night.

Ski: Brian Head Ski Resort is the main resort most Las Vegans travel to for great Utah Snow Skiing.

Golf: There is a Par-3 golf course about 12 miles from the cabin at Mt Carmel junction.

Other Activities: Rock Wall, ATV's, Zip Line, Paint Ball, Billiards, Ping Pong

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and we were very satisfied with our choice. The cabin is close to Bryce and Zion National Park where we hiked a couple of beautiful trails. Ryan is quick to respond to all our emails and questions. The cabin is fully equipped with everything we need and the rooms are beautifully
decorated and very true to the photos posted. Ryan - thanks for

A perfect retreat

This home was perfect in every way. We did not want to leave. We were able to readily contact the owner before and during the reservation period, all of our questions were answered immediately and excellent information regarding directions, security, and the area was provided up front. It is quite a drive to the closest restaurant or grocery store, but as long as you know that ahead of time, you can be prepared. The kitchen was superbly stocked with every piece of dishware, utensil or pan needed. Plenty of bed linens, blankets and towels were provided. We were able to contact the owner with questions during our stay, and they contacted us just to make sure everything was ok. This home is in secure gated community, but is also in a very remote location. It would not be logical to walk to any attractions, activities or restaurants. If you are walking, it is for the exercise or for site seeing! Zion was the closest attraction with hiking, horse back riding and beautiful scenery. We also went 4-wheeling in Panguitch which is an hour's drive, but worth the experience. Mountain biking was also available within a 1/2 hour drive. The home itself can easily be used by any type of group - adults, families with children or families with teenagers. But you must like the mountain activities and site seeing to take full advantage of the area. I have already recommended this vacation home to my children and would love to come back next year.

Wonderful base for Zion activities

This home was a perfect base for our activities in and around Zion National Park. It is large, comfortable, private, well-equipped and immaculately maintained. Sunset dining on the huge outdoor porch was a great finale to days filled with hiking and biking . The owners called during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Lovely vacation home - highly recommended.

This was a great vacation for my family. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. We would love to vacation there again! Ryan was great to work with to make sure our vacation was the best!
