Apartment, 2 Bedrooms + Hide-a-Bed, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Paso Robles is famous for its world class wine.

From the beautiful hardwood floors to the fantastic full service kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the attention to detail is something to savor.

Enjoy a glass of our local wine from your cozy spot on the balcony overlooking historic Vine Street or BBQ with your friends on the covered patio.........We even include the bottle of Paso Robles Wine for you!

About Doug

I grew up in the SF Bay area and attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. While attending Cal Poly, we decided to raise our family here rather than move back to the big city.

We absolutely fell in love with the Paso Robles area and love sharing the Paso Robles community and the surrounding wine country with our guests.

Doug purchased this apartment in 1998

Why Doug chose Paso Robles

While Paso Robles has grown over the years, it still retains its small town atmosphere, where people are friendly and inviting. An evening stroll though downtown will convince you that you have found a second home and will make you wanting to return again and again.

What makes this apartment unique

We are located two blocks from the city park which is in the center of downtown. This puts you within easy walking distance to many very good restaurants and wine tasting rooms. Our central location is within an easy (20+/- minute) driving distance to the eastside and westside wineries within the Paso Robles Appellation.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a fantastic wedding weekend!! We stayed here for our wedding weekend and had an awesome time. Everyone who came to visit us here loved it and WE loved it most of all. Upstairs on Vine is beautiful! All details perfect! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for coffee in the mornings. We can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary.

Perfect week in Paso

  • 5 of 5

Spent the week in Paso in a wonderful upstairs condo. The unit was super clean, functional, spacious and had easy access to all the downtown restaurants. We look forward to returning as we really enjoyed our home away from home.

My face lit up!!

  • 5 of 5

Traveled with another couple for a couple days of wine tasting. This home is cozy, beautifully decorated, warm, comfortable, clean, wonderfully appointed, friendly staff, & close to town with easy access to freeway and wineries. LOVED IT!!! Felt like I was in a fine suite of a hotel resort but with the comforts of home. Will most certainly be returning. Thank you!!!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our working vacation here. The accommodations are superb and proximity to downtown and SO many wineries is a great advantage. We are looking forward to our return next year for an even longer stay.

Wine-tasters

  • 5 of 5

This condo is delightful! The beds are very comfortable, which is not always the case in a rental. The kitchen had everything we needed and extras like pre-ground coffee, sugar and spices. The place is as pretty as it shows in the photos. We recommend it for folks wanting to taste the great wines and food of Paso. It is an easy walk into the "downtown" area so you can imbibe without worrying about a DUI.

Upstairs on Vine a real find in PASO

  • 5 of 5

Great unit. Large main living area. My wife and I rented it and had tons of room. Only a couple blocks from the downtown square in PASO. Had everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again next time.
