Location just off I-196 & M-89 means the Owls' Nest is only a two-hour drive from Chicago.
More to do than a week allows! Needless to say, the beach and Lake Michigan are the big draws but there's so much more! Orchards, boutique shops, fine dining, hiking, canoeing, fishing, live performances...and then there's the peace and quiet of the woods. Check our reviews and you'll find that everyone gravitates to the screened porch. It's a great place for coffee in the morning, a book (read 'nap') in the afternoon or a glass of wine at dusk. You'll find really great restaurants that focus on fresh, local produce supplied by many of the area's organic farmers/producers. Vineyards and fruit plantations provide the opportunity to pick your own or purchase a peck! Not fancy or showy, but homey & cozy.
